I am curious, why are so many RUclipsrs holding clip on microphones these days? I've seen it enough but not everywhere and you specifically pointed it out so I am guessing it is some kind of trend vs. a technical need? I am never hip to what is trendy and new . Also, and more importantly 📚📚📚📚📚
honestly - it just sounds better! and this camera in particular is popular to use for vlogging because of how compact it is. that said, it sounds better with the bluetooth mic versus the built in one.
