Its is a piece of sheer opulence. For me, it works exactly how i want. I have a fair bit of elektron gear and it adds a special touch to them. There are better items of value to be had, but this is for me.
I totally agree. In the end it is not worth it. Sold mine after a year due to the limitations or lets say weird behaviour. Noise, weird overdrive, weird input level sensitivity. However the tape delay in combination with bandpass filter is outstanding!
I am finding the same thing. You kinda have to put it correctly otherwise it just drowns out music with a lot of buzzing and noise. I suppose it works for the tech house people but looking back at reviews from DJs raving about it I think it just doesn't work for me.
Hi Johnny, Quick question; let say use my Timeline delay pedal + ( cutoff / resonance / vco ) knobs of one of my synth ; I will obtain the same result ?
Will be a little bit different, as the filter is in different spots in the “chain”. Your example, the filter would be first in the chain and with just zen delay filter would be last.
No idea what Erica Synths were thinking with the vintage mode...totally feels like a throw-away thing to add and really raised my eyebrow in regards to their design decisions, especially for a ~$800 CAD pedal. WTF
Been wanting this pedal for a while. Great video brother

Glad to hear you enjoy it! Do you happen to have one of the lower serial number ones with the 1khz hiss?
@@johnnyposh dont think so. Ive only had it for a couple of months. Will have to check. 👍
@@johnnyposh I heard it goes away after firmware update
@@tommyfeinstoff unfortunately not for alot of the earlier serial number units.

Overdrive is quite terrible hey. Its pretty much only got a handful of useful tricks

I'm getting mine tomorrow (supposedly). I got the Dreadbox hypnosis a couple of months ago, which is very good if you don't have that.
Nice! Heard great things about the hypnosis, whats your favourite thing about it?
That’s crazy. LOVE it!!
Is a neat one
