I know what you mean Genie. When I first discovered her, I could not stop playing this song so many times. And look at that smile of hers. Aside from her excellent yodeling skills, she has a fine voice.
@@akagenie502 Just like you, I love this song and singer and only sorry that it is only recently became aware of her. Thanks Genie, I had the same reaction like you.
I love her singing soooo much. I listened to this performance on hee haw a million times then I ordered the used vinyl record from EBAY! Now I have my own radio show where I play VINYL only. I will play Linda Martell LOTS.
Last time I gave information about Linda. She just turned 79 on June 4. As far as I can tell this is the only film clip of her performing. She did Country as well as R & B music. I knew you'd like her yodeling.
Thanks Genie. You know I'm not familiar with her. Kinda surprising cause this was the kind of show my parents watched. But she was good. You know there's a great clip of Dolly Parton doing and telling the story of her 74 hit "I will always love you". The clip is from I think 07 so it's pretty HQ. It's a good story about the song and the clips of her from back in the day aren't that good. Not asking you to react but if your looking for stuff here it is. --> ruclips.net/video/jr8tffNHJno/видео.html
Flatwoodsdad hey, hey. Yeah she’s good. I’m in love with her yodelling lol and I haven’t done a Dolly Parton yet so yeah on my list. Recording this weekend so yeah :)
Hello Genie ! If you like yodeling, listen to this song : ruclips.net/video/bTxZkiUUVSc/видео.html It's from the latest album of a French Canadian singer named Guylaine Tanguay. I found it very fun !^^

Tim Carr agree completely, such beautiful smile and voice I had to listen to it again & again :)
Me also Tim…She is mesmerizing!
She sang 1960s Motown style girl band music. She was called Linda Martell and the Anglos.
Beatiful.
Thanks for watching:)
