Mark could have easily exploited the situation here knowing that all other sharks are out and she's pretty desperate for a deal.
He could have gone for a lot more equity and she would have probably said yes. But he only asked for what she initially offered. Not single percent more.

When Mark said don't sell your house, that touched me. It shows he's a good person
From an investment perspective, each shark was legitimate on their reason for not wanting to invest. They saw the HUGE work and time it would cost to give this item a push. They simply didn't want to be bothered with it in its "baby" stages. Mark saw that too, but instead saw the investor and where she was at, and wanted to give her a chance. People wonder why Mark is the best shark.
I've seen other sharks make "charity" investments on the show. It's not just Mark.

@@Rc1023 No, it's not. The product actually makes sense. That's low risk and high reward for Mark. He has 40% equity in the company for $70k. Plus, the fire in the woman's eyes really showed that she really wants this to work and will do anything, even sell her house, to make her business successful. Mark saw it and made a bet on her. That's really a classy move from Mark. Giving help to someone who has helped a lot of people.

I've watched many episodes and Mark cuban always proved that he is really a good person, I respect him
I was in the hospital for 2 months straight and got to see how hard nurses work. Some of the nurses in there would work 12 hour shifts, and still be caring and friendly while attending multiple patients. Glad Mark was able to help out

Mark Cuban is the only shark to follow what really shark tank is, small companies that need help to start and grow. The rest of the sharks never want to help start a business but invest in things that are already up and running, fair enough but I think this episode really shows what Shark Tank should be about. Also she came in giving away 40% of her business not like a lot of people coming in asking for 500k and giving 5% equity, she didn’t counter what Mark offered, she is a genuine entrepreneur, I was truly moved at the end!

They are all upset her sales are low but it’s difficult to promote a business unless you are famous. I have a small business & only make enough sales to pay my rent. I cannot reach out to famous influencers with a. Huge following to promote my product as I end up getting ignored by them. I’m glad she got a deal and now exposure from this popular tv show.
