WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Kalo Teknik dan power full Joy tobing yang the best. Pertama: beda pangggung,dimana yang lain telah di satting sebagus mungkin. Sedangkan Joy tobing, live pada youtobe, IG dan Facebook.
Kedua: yang lain sudah latihan dan sudah cek son dan persiapan sudah manteng sedangkan JOY tobing permintaan salah satu pegemar pada saat live, dalam arti Dadakan tanpa latihan terlebih dahulu.
Ketiga: sound sistem yg digunakan yg lain punya sudah standar dalam arti yang dipakai pada saat manggung, sedangkan sound system yang di pakai Joy tobing Adalah sound system cafe, otomatis kapasitasnya sangat jauh berbeda,
, jadi disini menurutku Joy lebih unggul.
Julukunnya Tetap Macan vestifal, Dan Joy tobing telah memberikan standar tingggi untuk indonesian Idol seasen Pertama.
