Depends. I've been studying a LOT more theory as of late, but the way to make the most money live at these stakes is still playing "exploits" while using theory as a baseline

I ve played on and off for 5 years but without any direction, just a rec donk player honestly. Any recomendations on books or courses? It seems like todays new players put very little emphasis on trying to read their opponents, all people talk about are charts, percentages, pot odds equity ev etc. I watch people at the table who hardly even look up at the other players. Is that because im playing lower stakes or whats your thoughts on that?
