I have been meaning to tell you, the new intro is pretty cool. The combing of maker and pencil really works. I just wish I could figure it out for myself. So glad you shared this coloring it turned out amazing. Carla
So cute! I started on mine.. (well, I started on the skin) but haven't really colored in a few days. But this was fun to watch though... not sure what direction I'll be going with the hair but I love your color combo!
I went to my local print shop and bought cover sheets they use for spiral binding.. they are a clear plastic, typically in letter and ledger size (not sure what that translates to outside the US, but it's 8.5x11 and 11x17 inches). Took measurements of my favorite books and had them cut to size (they are dirt cheap like a $1 each), so nice to color without having a bunch of stuff hanging out of your book. Not only are they reusable, but they will hold any wet media with no bleed through... and I really like the surface feel when coloring with pencils too. It's hard, but has the slightest bit of give. Wouldn't want to be without them, they rank right up there with my favorite sharpener and pencil cases.
Excellent! I just bought a Windsor and Newton skin tone set. I still struggle with skin. So, that is why I bought the markers. Lol. Were you sharpening your pencils off camera with a knife, or multitasking and peeling potatoes on the side? :-D
