Another excellent reaction! It's amazing how you notice so many details just after a first or second viewing. And it's so fun to see the joy and excitement you have for ONEUS. I agree that the sound of them whipping those fans open (especially in the dance practice) IS really satisfying!

All the members participated a lot for this album and is great that they got 1st win with this song. What a moment 😭🙌
Hwanwoong is credited to create parts of the choreography (Xion's 1st verse and the chorus)
Ravn, Leedo and Seoho in composition and lyrics of the album.
They even fight to want Luna as title track, because the company didn't. And they even created a ppt presentation to convince them haha. They took part of choose outfits and makeup too (Xion and Keonhee)
The song is based on a legend of a flower (Wolhamin, the title of the song) that only bloom once a year and only in the Night! They use this story to portrait a lost lover that want to reunite to them and declare their love, even if that require to travel in time... A tragic, nostalgic and lovely story.
The dance have references to 3 Traditional Korean dances! Buchaechum, seungmu and talchum

The woman in the intro is doing Pansori. It is a traditional way of storytelling with singing. Her name is in the title of the video.
Also, the other characters in the title for Luna are Chinese. Hangul is actually a simplified version of Chinese, so you will see them alot in Kpop.

If at some point you feel like it, I think you would love their relay dance ! They have so much fun with it and being silly and annoying each other 😂

Thank you so much for reacting to ONEUS again! I always love seeing your reactions to these songs and how you point out things either in the song or the choreo that I haven’t noticed before.
I just wanted to let you know that LUNA is a Korean song, not a Japanese one. If you plan on reacting to more ONEUS songs, I would suggest reacting to my personal favorite, A Song Written Easily. It is a slower-paced song, but the melody, vocals and lyrics are all very beautiful. Since you mentioned that ONEUS are concept kings, I wanted to say that A Song Written Easily is part of the “Fresh” concept.
Thank you once again for everything that you’re doing!

And same scent (with the traditional performance as well) same scent is the more mature version of aswe. Love them both! Such great songs

The pansori artist is Choi Yelim! She also colab with them in Inmortal Songs when Oneus performed a cover of Tiger is coming (with references to Lit, their first Traditional song). Hope you can enjoy it too! I think one of the videos of the performance have eng subs

I loooooved the intro, that was so cool. I didn't remember I've seen the MV before a long time ago, but I also remember liking it a lot at the time - so now I can properly attach it to Oneus and this song!! The dance practice video - WOW the sound of the fans opening, OMG, I LOVE THAT.
Right when you started talking about Hwanwoong's lines, I was just noticing his body line prior to that, he looks sooooo amazing. I think it's so neat how at the end they have a slow fan opening that is silent, it's so nice, energetically speaking, to go along with the way the music is going softer as well. Gorgeous. Keonhee looked and sounded so good in this as well. The dance practice was super satisfying!

Xion's voice is amazing!! I'm a Seoho ult stan and Xion's voice is my 2nd favourite in oneus. It's like smooth butter but warm at the same time because it's deeper than the others. His voice is actually almost as deep as Leedo's, just without the raspiness and less obvious as he doesn't rap. His deep register is quite prominent in songs like Plastic Flower (there's a performance video for it!)

Maybe there’s something wrong with the algorithm but here’s the MV Behind
    Part 1 ruclips.net/video/8My379CgQBs/видео.html
    Part 2 ruclips.net/video/8Gb8J2kmhPc/видео.html
There’s also an Album Making Behind that shows them recording Luna and practicing the choreo, as well as interview bits where they share insights into the theme and concept, as well as their creative process of the songs in the album, which I highly recommend you to watch! (on/off camera) ruclips.net/video/5Bd_0aNACc/видео.html
And the encore stage on Show Champion for their first ever music show win ruclips.net/video/OYqBEu-2WyY/видео.html
And the behind to that ruclips.net/video/OX28k8idrF8/видео.html (‘Luna’ promotion behind #2)
And last but not least, the original version of Luna ruclips.net/video/ehxm3lJVrdI/видео.html (Theatre ver. performance video)
Luna was not planned as a comeback title track, but their 3rd single release for the Oneus Theatre project, where they released songs with performances inspired by different movies (which were later included in the Blood Moon album as b-sides) The Oneus Theatre video has already been filmed before the label eventually agreed on making it the title track upon the insistence from the members (especially Seoho, who loves this song so much that he accidentally spoiled the song title when it was still planning to be released as a Theatre single) After their win, they disclosed the Theatre ver. as a thank you gift to fans, with a notably different intro and dance break to the final version.

This comment is a bit late, but this is actually the only ONEUS song that didn't contain any English words at all! Even Ravn's "ra spit out flame" before his raps was in korean, to maintain the traditional style of this song.

The story of this is of a poem of a flower that blooms only once on a hundred years in the moonlight then withers and dies (im pretty sure that's correct but if I'm wrong please correct me)

The title are Chinese characters, not Japanese (koreans learn a bit of hanzi too, but obviously not to the extent of chinese ppl, they use hanzi for artistic purposes while chinese ppl like me literally writes and communicates with it) It literally translates to "the beauty under the moon". Luna is just a shorter, catchier name.
