- Some of the greatest commercials produced by ESPN over the recent years. They include the "This Is Sportscenter" Commercials as well as NBA on ESPN commercials. Let me know what you think in the comments. You don't have to agree with my opinion.
It's ironic that I cut out cable, solely to avoid ads, and this is what i am currently indulging in..

Steve Irwin wrestling the U of Fla mascot never gets old. The NBA tour bus ads were good. Didn’t know Richard Simmons filmed a spot.

I laughed the hardest at that one. Steve really sold it.
They left out the Arnold Palmer in the cafeteria one.Mixing the ice tea and lemonade.

I also like the one where Linda Cohn is in the parking lot and there is a lot of traffic. She hits her horn and yells out, "Don't you know who I am?"
Disappointed the Arnold Palmer clip wasn't on the list.
Yep, that one was a big omission as well as the Scott Van Pelt PED one. I think #13 is my favorite here though.

It's still pretty damn good--the best source for sports, interviews, hilites, and news. All other network sports coverage blows.

Where is the one with Stuart Scott, Kenny Mayne along with Kobe Bryant and Keyshawn Johnson (when they were younger) on giving interviews. That was a classic and should've been in this

Props to the writers, the real hero’s behind these great segments
Lance Armstrong peddling the bicycle in the basement to power the building was one of the funniest ones and it wasn't on the list at all.
My guess would be because he is a fraud of an athlete? Good for him he beat cancer but meh on giving that guy any props.

They found out later he was using a generator for that commercial.
Those are all good, but the best ever was the Y2K commercial. "Follow me to Freedom!!"

Usually I disagree with people's own top 3 but those 3 probably got me laughing more than the others, Clayton def. #1. They could have taken the Manny/"hola" one out of the list completely and put a few more that were better than that. I liked the Sportscaster Pinch Hitter one where Keith Obermann stumbles his words, they go to commercial break and the coach takes him out against his will, he throws a tantrum, walks out and Trevor Hoffman is sitting in the seat when they return.
@@goatcheese4me There are SO many great ones it's hard to narrow the list down. It's hard to believe they've been making these since the early nineties. I tend to agree that John Clayton's was one of the funniest ever, though. There were lots during the Patrick / Obermann era that weren't in this vid.
I thought the Fantasy football one was hilarious where he guy puts the scissors in the table! Lol. I also like the New Jersey Devil elevator going down one as well.
The Clayton one is a classic!

This is a good list. ESPN has made some really hilarious commercials, too many to have on one video.
My favs missing from this list...
- The Production Assistant (Craig Kilborn's career advise for the PA, "Two words for you: Pizza...Delivery.")
- Competitive at SportsCenter (where Charley Steiner is hiding under his desk from Evander Holyfield)
- Commercial Break ("The teleprompter is going too fast!...Cut me! Cut me Lou!")
- The feud between the field reporters and the anchors ("Watch it bureau boy!" "Want a piece of me desk jockey?")
- The Steiner for Shue Trade ("Hi Cindy. I'm Bobby. I'm the new pool boy. Wanna rub some cocoa oil on my back?)
Wowwwwwwww... Don't remember any of them.

Great stuff - I would mention the Kerri Strug where they left the guy carrying her around - so many great ones - the boxer corner guy slapping the anchor who yelled "cut me!", the pairing of the anchors, where the guy said "I don't even know you anymore", the guys chipping golf balls into the satellite dish, my favorite was after Olbeman left and the guy said "put the biscuit in the basket" and broke down
Steve Irwin was awesome lol. Miss seeing him on tv, guy was so passionate about what he did, and seemed like an amazing person in general. Would love to have met him. RIP.
The fact that Albert Pujols isn't on this list is a crime!

Another one I like is Danica Patrick's Indycar getting towed in "D. (Dan) Patrick's" Space. I found that one hilarious.

being how I'm former Navy, I have a unexplained bias towards the Pirates as the best. These are THEE greatest commercials ever created and I thank the hilarious people at the network how put them together. The only commercials that I have ever been excited to see.
We all miss Stuart Scott he had some of the best This is Sports Center commercials ever
There are a lot of good ones but the pirates from Seton Hall, ECU, Tampa Bay, and Pittsburgh plundering the conference room (17:58) is really good, especially when you see them outside running from the building. Bucky Badger checking out photos of Wilma Wildcat (1:40) is also really good, especially when you consider she's married to Wilbur. Hooter and Baldwin walking into the glass (16:24) is not only funny but clever. Sparty and The Scarlet Knight using the blenders (19:42) is so funny.
But the best are The Oregon Duck (0:35) and Miles & Blitz (11:35); they're hilarious.
The Joe Mauer and SVP clip by far gets slept on, one of my favorites.

All these commercials are amazing but I noticed my favorite one isn't on here, which is the one where Megatron transforms into a vending machine, lol.. Still awesome video though!

Love ❤️ the Slayer John Clayton a lot and should definitely be in the top 5 though. I am from Los Angeles and can’t figure out why I never saw the awesome Lamar Odom , Worthy & Magic ? Also should be higher on the list. Ovie #2 was awesome 👏 & and I remember the Kershaw one but forgot how funny it was. OchoCinco was good. I don’t remember Steve Irwin (RIP)and loved it! & Stuart Scott RIP. Hanna Storm ⛈ looking like a snack in #49💕& Richard Simmons needs to be in top 10! 😂& the thermostat battle between Iceburg & NJ 😈 Devil!😂

My favorite one from years ago was where they were playing a game of trying to bounce a ball and have it land on a shelf. I've never been able to find it again though...

Does anyone remember the commercials they were running when the Avalanche first moved to Colorado? The players were trying to teach the locals on hockey stuff and they were hilarious. Can't fined copies of them anywhere.

I didn't see my favorite with Joe Montana working in the ESPN kitchen cafeteria. They then switch to the tables where the tv analyst are eating, when one pulls out of there food, a Super Bowl ring, "bling bling".
