As a guy in my late 20s and just now trying to learn the game this channel is invaluable. I was a soccer goalkeeper for most of my life so some things can translate, but I clearly lack the fundamentals most get through coaching and practices. Keep pumping out these useful videos and I'll keep learning!
Jacob, I'm so glad to hear that! Volleyball is a lifelong sport and no matter what age you start you can truly develop your skills to become a great player. Don't worry I have plenty of content coming to help your game. I also played goalie for a bit in my past and can agree with some of the natural movements that translate between the two!
Great video! Can you add one more and explain what coaches mean when they say RED regarding a hit or attack strategy? I've heard it so many times but cannot for the life of me determine what separates it from the GO ball.
Red is a first tempo ball on the right side. Similar to a “go” ball you ideally want the attacker to be on the second step of their approach when the balls hits the setters hands. Now, given the set to the right side is generally much closer than a go ball to the outside, the speed might seem slightly slower than a go ball. But in practice it should be around the same tempo.

Video idea: typical setter hand signals.
Really love this one... it's in the queue.
I didn't know beach setting is called Deepdish.
My favorite is pancake = indoor and waffle = outdoor lol..
Some terminology travels, I would imagine some of it could be regional or different based on age as well.

Meh, getting hit in the top of your head isn't paintful. Ball is soft and head is hard.
NOW getting hit in the face... That's a different story.
Getting hit in the face hurts a lot, the pain from the top of the head leads to concussions which is where the real pain lies.
Why were they head tapping mid point LMAOOO
I asked myself the same thing...
its a meme from lebron james like on his head yk but still idk why mid point
