At this point I think sukuna's technique is linked to a restaurant. When it is "closed" sukuna can only use cleave and dismantle to prepare his food, when he "opens" the kitchen he can actually cook with flames

@@rifarira9160 the full translations are not available yet so they might be choosing between the two and took the most viable option. And the only plausible reason for Yuji to be able to use RCT is because his body is the best suited for that and he learnt it directly from Choso without swapping and hence he was not able to fully grasp it. But it's just speculation from my end.

From what I can tell, GeGe has used kitchen theming to craft sukuna’s ability’s in a way were he could potentially have limitless applications, but by tying them together through the kitchen theme.
For example, for yuji specifically, he could have a whirlwind based attack that can either reference a blender or a pastry mixing machine.
Another example could be a front facing piercing/javelin attack for both Sukuna and yuji, referencing a Fork.
Interesting theory but you have to take into account Yuji's main way of fighting. Yuji is a close range hand-to-hand tank meaning that his ability should have something to do with his experience as a brawler.
In my opinion, Yuji should have a kitchen related brawling/smashing attack correlating into his actual experience rather than a new attack of which he has yet to understand or implemented in any way.
Either way, it should fit with the 'close-range brawler' experience Yuji already has as a character.
On a side note, I believe that it is quite an interesting thing that Sukuna, although a powerful brawler, has abilities more so related to those of long range while Yuji is the complete opposite, relating to those of close range. Just a thought though.

9:30 The translations aren't clear, but the narrator just talked about the disadvantages of having a domain with a closed barrier, and that's why the narrator mentioned Maki because of her HR. Therefore, it has no relation to Sukuna and his DE. Sukuna's domain, although incomplete, is still the same DE Sukuna has always done (Open barrier, 200M, etc) because of the binding vows Sukuna decided to make. However, because of Sukuna's current state and his binding vows (Not sure about the binding vows), the DE will collapse in 99S.
Also, even if the DE was sealed with a barrier the sure-hit would still apply to Maki because of how dismantle functions in the DE. What the narrator talked about is the possibility of Maki exiting the effective range that's enclosed with a barrier.
We see that the Shrine is a giant mouth. So maybe Sukuna doesn't have any will of his own and the only way he was able to get this powerful was making a binding vow to sacrifice his own will and only live to feed the Shrine.
And in the Hein Era maybe people didn't worship Sukuna but the Shrine.
Sukuna is under the control of Shrine but Yuji may actually control Shrine due to his indomitable soul.
And Yuji may use electricity instead of fire and also use cooling techniques like the fridge to condense water vapour and multiply said electricity through water.
We might be in for peak.

Would be wild if Ui Ui uses a binding vow that allows him to swap places without the sheet. Saving Yuji at the last second sacrificing himself to give Yuji another shot seeing it as the best chance they have to defeat Sakuna and ensure his sisters safety.

For Yuji's "2nd swap" via Ui Ui's technique I think there are 3 main possibilities:
1) Shoko for quickly getting the idea behind RCT
2) Choso for learning and deepening his understanding of Blood Manipulation
3) He hasn't made the 2nd swap yet. If he did it would be on cooldown, but maybe the Jujutsu High team decided to keep the 2nd swap to use it as an emergency plan in the current battle.

If sukuna wants to continue then he has to restore his RCT now.
Once this domain falls he will be in CT burnout without being able to heal it.
So he's either doing something like eating someone next or is actually pretty much finished
more like going to his third boss phase i think. he'll active the merger somehow on the verge after yuji and gang beat him, you know like how Obito turn himself to Juubi jinchuriki after kakashi able to get to his heart. Because ain't no way the juubi merger not happening after all of that.
also the reason the slashes stopped might not specifically be because he was swapping the sure hit. it's possible that you cant manifest multiple sub-techniques of shrine at the same time... at least not outside a completed domain / in a weakened state.
I’m wondering what binding vow Sukuna made in this chapter and what he had to give up, I think it may have been 2. One to replicate his domain and the other to heal one of his hands. Because it looks like he opened his domain with one hand, which could be the reason it’s incomplete and thus that could’ve been the binding vow. But at the end of the chapter he looks like he has two hands to use kitchen hearth
Hearths also can have a spiritual aspect and hearths and fire are common in shrines and temples. So it still seems possible to be both

I think the domain has these rules
1: is not closed so people can escape BUT unlike shibuya it's effective range is probably was smaller
2:He must is sone way reinforced it with the chimera shadow garden another incomplete domain
3:It can only last 99 seconds
Another bonus one that's my own theory is since cleave is for curses energy and dismantle is for everything else what if he's just using dismantle to ensure he also hits Maki I thinks that's also why the domain is protecting his backside

I feel the fire is a property of the cuts. Sharpening CE against each other could create friction and heat it could be way he moves his hands back and forth when he stokes the flames, could be hinted at when he creates small chainsaw like dismantles in his hands and rotates them like chainsaws when he catches Yutas blade

First of all. I love that we finally know why Yuji and Yuta had such vast different answers on how they or at least Yuji got so much stronger during the timeskip.
Now two thing I had in mind regarding , Sukuna's "Mizushi/Shrine". The first one is that a part of technique could be a storage he has to cycle through. Basically like an ego shooter swapping between weapons to balance things out. It would also explain the "Fuga/Open" we've seen in Shibuya, opening his storage or cabinet to access other parts of Shrine.
The other thought, if Sukuna sees himself as some kind of chef preparing his food via his CT, it would kinda explain his incredible understanding of Cursed Energy and how to utilize it best, as a chef always knows the tools and ingredients he's working with.

The different answers were a really comedic touch to the story, yes, but also were implying something we might have yet to uncover. Love this chef theory and how it correlates to the fact that the domain can be called "Malevolent Kitchen". I also love this series because it is so in-depth and incredible.

Sukuna can use positive energy, and as we've seen from Gojo and Kenkjaku, they can use it to reverse the effects of their techniques , Sukuna has never used it throughout the entire story, so the opposite of fire would probably be water or ice. I'm not sure exactly, but it won't deviate from these two possibilities.
Sukuna would prob have salt over cold since back in the day you can't really freeze things but you can put it in some salt. All of them gojo glazer feeling sad rn

i think it should be clear at this point that the "eating things technique" that yuji DEFINITELY has and it's been theorized that sukuna has is also part of the technique.
A further inference is that yuji has actually likely always had shrine since birth, since the finger was sealed within him. Gojo said he didn't, and that was mostly correct. It was not yuji's technique, which gojo could tell, but what he couldn't tell was that a finger had been within yuji since he was born, meaning sukuna's shrine had actually been laying dormant within yuji BEFORE sukuna incarnated in him. Gojo had no way to know this, and assumed sukuna incarnating within him is what "gave" yuji the dormant technique waiting to be awakened.
I am scared for my fav. brother of Yuji Choso now than ever. With Flame arrow being a thing, there might be the chance that Choso saccs himself for Yuji. This is especially the case with how Choso said that he will keep looking after him and him screaming being concerned for Yuji all the time in this chapter.
Hope bro makes it out alive. Knowing Gege, Choso has been planned to perish for a long time now.

I'm going to say that sukuna doesn't have a water base attack because he has uraume, literally that's why he's with sukuna so he can freeze all of the curses / people that he wants to eat later.
it seems that Yuji is a half curse spirit after eating Choso's brothers and gaining blood manipulation. instead of using reverse curse energy to heal he can use normal curse energy and his technique to get a huge discount on how much energy he uses to heal and is less complicated to use.

Did we ever consider that sukunas technique could really just be based off slashes but due to his interpretation of the technique relating slashes to cooking that the relation to cooking was created in his own technique

Maybe one of the aspects of shrine besides slashes and fire, is water. Given he produced a piercing water attack against gojo and manifested water himself to do it. Water is a key part of preparing and cooking food. I know max elephant has a water attack which people think sukuna borrowed but to my memory we did not see sukuna use any other shikigami technique himself. It was always the shikigami using the technique. Otherise he could of produced lightening himself like nuei or any other shikigami technique without summoning them. I dont think mahoragas wheel being used by sukuna breaks this theory either as that can be looked as a kind of cursed tool and not a part of the shikigamis actual body.
The water comes from max elephant or otherwise Mahoraga and Agito would despawn because you cant use 2 techniques at the same time.

Yuji could have a shit ton of elements since his is the modern version, gas stoves electric microwaves etc. these many different tools for cooking in the modern era.
I think yujis domaine will be centered around him being able to use as many black flashes as he wants inside of his domain. Besides Gojo we see that all of those black flashes has a HUGE effect on Sukana! Then if it’s intensified by the soul splitting technique will fck sukana up lol
The reason miwa got in the way to save maki is because maki isnt able to be targeted by the sure hit but can still be hit by attacka in the domain

It wasn't a water 'arrow'. It was just a splash of water from the elephant's trunk. The reason it's just a splash of water was because if it had hit RCT: Red, it woud have exploded it on impact and ruined Gojo's plan.

Otherwise he would’ve used an enclosed barrier but he’s unable to set the conditions to target inanimate objects - that’s why buildings are still being slashed
He’s also using one handsing like gojos and his domain looks like kenjakus so he copied 3 people in one go
Also, Dagon is a domain prodigy
He used a domain as death womb like every day and as a curse he used a domain with only a seal which nobody else has done - so Dagon is pretty skilled, conversation should be had between Dagon v Mahito

Since its confirmed that the arrow is part of shrine, Sukuna would had not been able to use the arrow during the domain clashes. Its been established that you cant use your regular technique while using your domain. He did use domain amplification while his domain was up but we never saw him use a regular slash that came from his hands during the domain clashes. And any other time, Gojo has his infinity up so at no point was the arrow a feasible tool. So the narrative that bypassing infinity was the only win-con, besides going into his heian era form early, still stands.
