This time Sans finally acknowledges how stupid these endings are from a gameplay perspective. Give him another 9 years and he will also mention the lack of logic and any plot development in them.
You say this as if they are objectively bad. When they can actually make perfect sense, and in fact, be great endings. Look at COTV (call of the void). In the end sans gives an undodgeable attack and you die, but it’s pretty good.
@@Tumeton Saw it. Sans fights with you for freaking 17 minutes, gives his absolute everything, literally melts from the effort... And in the end he stupidly gives out this shit. Can you explain to me why he didn’t do this right away? Couldn't'till phase 3? Okay, exhausted to the core, without Gaster and Papyrus, but sort of determined, yet why didn’t he do this right away at the beginning of phase 3? Is he a sadist or a masochist? Or both at once? Or he is getting stronger when he gets exausted? And why did this unfair attack killed Frisk, when unfair one in phase 2 failed? How's that "good"? Show me, where' s *logic* in this? About gameplay, since this isn't a fangame yet, okay, but since they're planning to turn it into one... And there's even some sorta plot development, even though it goes into dickmaster knows where, ignoring undertale canon, but still. And even if you say this is unfinished version, I don't give a damn, we're talking about this one. Besides, I read that this ending is going to stay quite same. They can be not bad, like the one in Dusttale: Last Genoside, coz this is not “you got killed, suck it”, but a plot lead to hard mode. Which is not there yet, yes, but nevertheless.
@@Adam_TheDuckmaster huh? What? Are you serious? Did you just listen to the music and nothing else? Why couldn’t he before: they tried and failed. So why did it work?: You lost most of your DT, which is the only reason the unfair attack works, and sans got DT. Throughout the fight he gets more and more determined to finish you which is partially why he melts, and in the end his outmatches yours, which is why he’s seen loading and saving. A hint that, you’ve basically already lost, and foreshadowing to the end of the fight. And so, he finishes you with an undodgeable attack and takes your soul. It’s a nice ending, everything about it is banger, which is why I say it makes sense and is great. Also, we don’t even know what are the requirements for an undodgeable attack. The two times it happens, they literally just do it. You DON’T need to be more powerful then your opponent to do it, either, or more determined. But it makes sense it worked, and since he did it earlier; he just did it again. (Also i think it’s not actually undodgeable, since there’s no box anymore. It’s just that since there’s so many blasters, the soul doesn’t have time to dodge.)
@@Tumeton Nah, I think you are the one to be kidding me here. You made up a beautiful story, I even almost believed it. But then I watched that phase again. Sans removes your determination at the beginning, taking away half of your HP, and in the last phase, and HP, and the filling of your soul gradually returns to normal. That is, Frisk in this phase does not lose their determination, but returns it. Meanwhile at the end of the second phase, where Frisk had less determination, the attack did not work. Sans, where does it say that his determination grows from nothing during the battle? It just says he got determined in the beggining. Melting? Does amalgamets melt coz they're gaining more and more determination? Well, let’s say that some kind of haze appears over him, that shows it, but why would he suddenly become more determined then Frisk if, once again, we regained our determination and did not lose it. Now, if we continued to lose it, like in the Great Time Trio, but no, we are restoring it. So why suddenly? Just "because"? Well, I can say that the tentacle sex of Sans, Papyrus and Gaster is awesome and *objectively* cool'nd good just "because", for no reason. Oh yeah, he just repeated this attack, correct, so why the hell didn't he use it right away? If it doesn't kill, it’ll make us one-shot. In undertale his last attack deals only 36 damage and takes a lot of his stamina, and also cannot kill us, so it makes sense he used it as his last try to win. But here? I'll tell you what. I'm going to sleep now, so you can think over another nice story for like 10 hour at least. I think you got the point.
@@Adam_TheDuckmaster i had forgotten you gain and not lose DT, my bad. But you’re being weird about one thing. The rest of what I said is literally right? 1:Sans loads and saves. Foreshadowing for the ending. Only one person can save at a time, the most determined one. It’s not stated but it’s a logical educated guess. 2: Why can sans do this attack that kills and not leave one shot? Because he has DT which makes you SIGNIFICANTLY stronger. (Doubling Undyne’s stats, making her much faster, regenerate, and give her like x15 hp.) 3: why did I say sans gets more determined? Because he goes from just being determined to literally loading and saving mid fight. Also, why did I say "that’s why he melts" because the more the fight went on the quicker the melted. I don’t even know why you mentioned the Amalgamates because they’ve melted already. But sans prevents full melting by loading. It only makes sense? We don’t have the full lore of any phase, and nothing makes more sense then that? Why would he NOT get more determined? For the first time he’s set his mind on getting serious and doing his most to kill you. 4: the attack in second phase didn’t work not because frisk was weaker but because sans was. That’s literally what I said. You shouldn’t have been speed reading. Go sleep, you seemingly need it because you seem to think you proved me wrong by saying "frisk didn’t lose determination" when that wasn’t even my main point, but apart of it. @@TheOffspringy will it get like an update? Just saying, if a game has achievements or some sort of hard mode, it would give some sort of replayability
i dont get those endings of fangames where you litelarry cannot beat your opponent, like whats the explanation behind that? it completely drains the idea of undertale where player is litelarry a god and they are the ones who can decide what they want to achieve, theres a lot of potential behind that aswell, so why do i have to see a boring ending where sans just turns out to have more power than us and can kill us at their will, it makes no sense and is just annoying witch really forced explanation of "not giving you the satisfaction so you can quit", if you want to take away my satisfaction then make next ulb renewed, that crap allows you to progress but makes it feel impossible in the right way
@@TheOffspringy its not just about your fangame, i mean a lot of those alternate sans fights, and bigger ones like cotv, if youre lazy atleast make ending that doesnt affect litelarry whole point of the game, simply winning the fight is enought, look at bad time trio, they do that, and i think we all can tell its popular fangame.
