- In this video, I unbox the YEDC Pig Ring and go over the size and weight of it among other things. The material of it is mokuti, which is mokume that includes titanium laminates.

yeah they stole the design from Project Ratchet. I was about to buy the Pig Slider, but I recognized their name from one of the reddit posts, so I decided to buy some other slider. I don't want to support thieves. Btw I got a project ratchet ring, and it's ok, not really that good. It changes performance over time, you have to clean it and adjust the spring from time to time.
Oh wow, I didn't know that! I don't think I've heard of Project Ratchet. That's unfortunate that you have to clean and adjust it from time to time though. I think a ring should be fully functional as one piece and not need maintenance, but idk. It must be difficult to make.

how is it holding up after 9 months? thinking of getting one
I actually had to get a new one because I spilled beer on the first one... 😅 but it held up fine! It can be scratched though, so I'd be careful with that. My first one ended up with some scratches but I didn't care much, and it was only visible close up.

I got the smallest size! I can't remember what size it was, whatever size translates into roughly size 7.
