The problem with cable covers is that it makes a light very flexible cable into a heavy not very flexible cable. Just remember, when getting a long cable for your torch, that you CAN’T coil that cable up because of the vastly increased inductance. So you have to somehow string it out. You can buy a cheap ($12 -20) flowmeter exactly like the one supplied here, on eBay.
