Ohh Sh****t This is the Old-School Brutal and Raw Death metal band I've never heard before and This is really an Iconic DM band with Awesome Art-Work when I saw someone posted something like this on Facebook I finally wanted of it and Here is my first listen so sick and Grinding amazing album, and the art-work was also sick.
Saw them in Orlando FL and was blown away by the beat down! That album artwork is incredible and so are the tones they got on this record. Fucking heavy as hell!
Anyone else I lidl sad about the vocal mix? I’ve heard em today with effort, but last night when I 1st discovered this band, I couldn’t pick up a voice for shit on this album tbh (lol, harder to discern than Under a Funeral Moon or In The Nightside Eclipse). Not sure why either, as the debut is bombfunk is all ways🤘💜🖤🧡✌️Chugga chuggin riffage is fuggin crusha though, so still a good album (just doesn’t touch ‘ Through Wilderness ‘ coz of muddied growls imo)
I can understand your grievance with the vocal mix though I'm unbothered as I prefer the vocals not to dominate the mix, Under a Funeral Moon happens to be my favorite black metal album, the vocals are at the perfect level there, and clearly audible.
It's just right. DM shouldn't be all about the vocals like deathcore. The mix is perfect and you can actually hear the instruments even while the vocalist is doing his thing

Album of the year! "Through Wilderness" is one of my favorite albums ever, and this one is just as good.

This is certainly audible excellence. Personally, this is a close second to Suppuration Morphogenesiaque.
