I'm a 61 year old Black American woman survivor. You are 💯% CORRECT. THIS trauma NEVER goes away. I LOVE Katt Williams. Hopefully, they don't hurt Katt. Keep doing what you are doing! It's IMPORTANT. YOU are an exceptional young man! I adore you. Oh, and PLEASE do a reaction to Three Dog Night's song, HUGE 70's hit, "Black and White". Very deep lyrics! This song was introduced to me by my White 4th grade teacher, Miss Womble. She was awesome.

I’m a 70 year old retired white male living as a hermit/monk. I’ve never listened to Drake, Diddy, Beyoncé, JLo or any of those “musicians”. My oldest son asked me to listen to a guy named 50 cents and Eminem. My comments after a short listen: “They seem angry, violent, criminal to me. How can anyone endorse how they talk about women and how they treat women? It’s not for me. In addition I do not think that they are very skilled or trained in their art. They are amateurish.” Thanks for sharing. I’m a fan of Mozart and Rachmaninov myself.

So your whole point is that you don't like rap music cause you don't understand it and prefer to make stereotypical assumptions based on 2 artists. Based on that, as a 47 yr old not retired black male living as a hermit/monk, guess I should assume that you are likely a xenophobe and not interested in respecting other cultures or their contributions. Mozart and Rachmaninov huh, European classical, other cultural contributions or mediums are just as valid as your narrow view.

I agree with you assessment. I tried listening to Drake, it was painful. His rapping( it sure isn't singing) sounded like someone strangling a cat. Gave rap a chance but i just don't understand the appeal. Your choices are good. Personally i lean more towards Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Vivaldi. To be fair most of the time its Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin with a little B. B. King thrown in for good measure.

When I owned my first restaurant/bar. I remember seeing Dozens of pretty young women every night coming into the bar. I was about 25 years old and newly married however something drastically changed in me.
I wanted to cover the girls up when they were wearing these skimpy little outfits. I remember thinking… man…that is someone’s daughter or sister. That may be my daughter someday. I instructed the Bartenders to keep an eye out for these girls because at the time we began hearing about these sicko predators who used to spike the girls drinks around town.
It was getting to be a common occurrence in the bars. We had a policy that when any of our workers felt like one of these type of guys or groups of guys were in our bar we would give extra attention to them to protect the girls. We began getting a reputation as not to be a friendly place for these shenanigans. My bartenders would tell me that some of these guys would offer them thousands of dollars to look the other way so they could take advantage of one of these girls. We had a few tense moments because some of the losers were in gangs and they would threaten our guys. We began being a sort of safe haven with the girls and on many occasions we pulled the girls away from them when they would try to sneak out with the girls. It is more common than we all realize. Pray 🙏🏽 for these poor young kids. After seeing this crap even the guys better be careful.
Good job covering this on your channel my friend. We need to change the way people think about this stuff. ✌️ ❤

It’s beyond weird. A drive-by shooting that took place outside of the gates of a walled off Embassy-size mansion. Not in a gated community. It’s giving: curious timing.
Further, with all the fights he picks with rappers ACROSS the industry + global entertainer, why on earth does he not live in a gated community.
In ATL amongst tons of rappers, even lay people live in gated communities, if not gated apartment complexes!
I don’t separate the artist from the music. Won’t be listening to Drake anymore. He’s in the same company as Diddy as far as I’m concerned and I couldn’t financially support someone like him..Take care.

Hi Jamel…I live in Toronto and we don’t have gated communities like you do in the US. The area Drake lives in is one of the richest in the country but anyone can drive right up to his property. He has a gated entrance outside his (HUGE) mansion with security but the street is open to the public. The shooter drove by in a vehicle and opened fire at the guard at the front gate. Part of the reason we don’t have gated communities like you do is that we don’t have the amount of guns and shootings that the US has….but in bigger cities like Toronto the shootings are getting worse. It wouldn’t surprise me if gated communities do become more popular…especially in mega-rich areas like this one.

The Bridal Path is one of the most expensive areas to live in Canada. Politicians, business people, entertainers and mafia bosses have lived and continue to live there. Its not a gated community, but each individual property is gated and sits quite far from the road. Unless the guy was standing at the end of the incredibly long driveway outside the gate or with the gate open, then its highly suspect how it was a driveby.

So in the neighborhood in Toronto where Drake lives is not a gated community however his house has Gates out front but you can park on the street and walk up to the gates the gates are not strong solid Gates they're carved and ornate.
It's very easy to do a drive-by there if anybody standing outside you could shoot through the gates easily.

It's a really nice area but it's not a gated community, however, most of the houses do have a gate, long drive way etc. A couple times I've seen security outside, that's how I knew which house was his. But it's a public street and regular people drive by everyday.

You can walk freely through the area known as the wealthy part of Toronto. Lots of celebrities have homes there as well as lawyers and doctors. The street and are that Drake house in is an older part of town but a very expensive part of town. It’s also not a very big area I’ve driven down that are numerous times it’s a fairly small neighborhood. In other areas of town such as Avenue Rd the lakefront and maybe the Toronto islands. We also don’t have a high crime rate for these types of incidents

I agree it doesn't sound logical that someone like Drake isn't behind a gated security system. I'm calling b.s on this story too. It sounds feasible it was an inside beef. What you find is that alot of artists find work for those in his circle and maybe Drake was getting too close to one of his security guards daughters and he has found out and confronted him. It is WAY more feasible.

I've been doing courier work in the LA /OC /Riverside/SB area for 30 years. I've delivered to many gated neighborhoods . When I go to one you have to present your ID, and the name of the person you are visiting. Normally the resident calls the security office and tells them they are expecting guests or deliveries. The times I'm not on a list they would call the resident and get their okay to let me enter. So either someone dropped the ball or someone let them in.
