I was in a college choir class a few years ago, and our last song, from our last concert was this. Before the show, and even outside of class, I would sing this almost religiously, and the show itself, of course, was so much fun. But that last song was so incredible, even to the point of singing the final verse again for the encore, and everyone in the audience was singing along, just having a great time. Anyway, long story short, that concert has got to be my favorite college memory by a mile.
Gosh,this was a great musical. Saw the original cast in 8th grade, and they completely blew me away. I was hooked after the opening number. What a show.
Valimore Azarius I first saw it five years ago when the original Broadway cast did a filmed performance for movie theatres. Then I saw it on national tour four years ago in Costa Mesa and now I'm seeing it live for my 2nd time next month. A theatre down the street from my house is doing the show.

I did this song for broadway nights (first real choir performance) and I got one of the solos it was so much fun also counting the beats are much harder than you think
