Dua Lipa - 'Radical Optimism' Album REACTION

After over 4 years since her last album, Dua Lipa has FINALLY released her third studio album - radical optimism! This release has been preceded by 3 singles which all have a common dance vibe to them - so that is what I’m expecting and looking forward to with the sound of these new songs!
But will it live up to its previous release Future Nostalgia?? Watch the video to hear my thoughts!

At the first listen I liked it, but was kind of feeling hungry for more. But after I listen to it a bit more I LOVED it. Didn’t really enjoy Maria that much the first time, but it’s turning out to be one of my favorite !!! That flute 😍

As the biggest biggest biggest Ariana fan ever I can’t believe I’m saying this but this is tied/(or still slightly less but u get wim) with eternal sunshine as my top 1 favorite album ever released
It was so GOOD and I cried at Falling Forever it was so emotional to me

Dua made us believe it was going to be a dark mature album with the red and black theme at first with Houdini and Training Season. Then she turned things around with Illusion and here we are with a beautiful sonically cohesive summer album. I can't wait to hear live performances

This album, in my opinion, is not better than future nostalgia. I feel like she played it safe for sure. I wish it had that IT factor. The lyrics were kinda shallow in some songs. It sounds a bit more mature but i want her to reinvent herself to the max because that’s when her stardom shines 💜

We are far from Future Nostalgia.....i am a fan of Dua Lipa but i try to see things objectively.The songs are triviale, She brought out the best to promote the album but the rest Is not up even to the First album

Dua is my favourite artist. Future Nostalgia is one of my favourite albums, but… I feel slightly bored by Radical Optimism. It feels like a missed opportunity. It doesn’t deliver on the psychedelic/90s rave scene sounds that she promised.
If she’d been more experimental, with darker, trippy tracks - to showcase Kevin Parker’s sonic talents - we would have a much better album.

I love this album. Her future projects will not be on the same stratosphere as Future Nostalgia. If so, then the album will be monotonous to hear. Radical Optimism is Dua Lipa mature album to date.
