Good vid bud but the threshold pot kicks in earlier at lower pot settings, 10-11o'clock ,not higher...works anti-clockwise...the higher the pot setting the longer before threshold kicks in...i use mine at different settings but normally L-R 12-3 o'clock level,9 max for Enhance to keep hiss down...ratio 10-12 o'clock, threshold 9-12 o'clock....yes it should be your first pedal then a buffered tuner if passive bass, true bypass if active bass....Polytune 3 does both & more....🎸👍

still learning how to use this. I have this, SCRDI, and CEB3 and I think this is the most essential of all three. but the hardest to dial. it’s difficult for me to find where I want to be on this pedal.

Gotcha. It took me a little time to get my tone right on it. What helped me was having a recording interface to help me learn where I was picking too hard and I slowly set the rate of attack to where my output became even when I accidentally hit the strings too hard. Then I compensated the sound I lost by slowly turning up the enhance knob to where started sounding big again without becoming too loud for the mix. Then I turned up the level to give me a clean boost and set the threshold pretty high because my tone spikes a lot because of how hard I play. That smoothed it all out. If you don't have an interface to give you an output reference to you playing just trust your ears. Set all of the knobs to 12 o'clock and start playing. If you don't have as many issues with inconsistent playing and spikes in your frequency levels you'll probably need a lower ratio and threshold. Then you can increase your enhance and level knobs to where the sound makes you happy. Trust your ears. Slowly correct the areas where where your sound becomes too much or where you start to lose it, then boost it accordingly. Good luck and keep playing!

Hey mate, try starting from... Enhance NOT over 9 o clock, ratio 9o clock and threshold 12 o clock. This is my starting point, always. I am a longtime user of LMB-3, it is amazing. Check reviews on why we avoid using enhance in order to avoid mid scoop and amplification of possible noise in our signal path. Cheers! :)
