Hello IAN, WOW !! Have you come back down to earth yet ? What a Day. The Half-Crown was Two Shillings and Six Pence which converted to Twenty Two and a Half New Pennies. An Old Wrinkly like me remembers having to convert the old coinage into the new money both at work and in the shops. Like an idiot, at the time, I used all my old coins to pay for things instead of keeping them. Cheers Pete Maher / A 'Sky-Blue' Mancunian now near Penysarn-Anglesey
hi Petemarr 60, thanks for the comment, yes I am back on earth but can't wait to take off again .A absolutely brilliant day, they look good in my collection lol.👍 😃
What a hunt Ian... Great video... How many detectorist find these 3 coins in the same hunt in the space of 2 hours... Amazing... This is why I've never given up on the Queen Anne field... I think this was the main spot of an early settlement/s, from a lot of periods... I've had coins from a lot of Monarch's on this field & believe there going to be a lot more there now.... The CTX has brought the Queen Anne field back to life... This whole area is the same... Ancient.... Lumps & bumps everywhere... I think the jackpot is here somewhere... When I started detecting, the plan was hit Anglesey.. Then I got this permission & have been addicted to it ever since & can't stop detecting there... I think you'll know why now... I look forward to our next adventure together mate... Take care... Best wishes Neil :-)
hi Neil, all I can say is thank you for a amazing day, can't wait to have another go. Thanks for the comment lol HH.👍 😃 and finally downloaded whoo whoo.
+Rafman You'll get another go after Neil has bought a CTX3030 and given the site a good pounding, lol. Minelab, pasture and deep silver all sit very well in the same sentence. GL&HH
+Pondguru Outdoors ,it shows two top detecter have different strengths, but it does not mean the deus is not as good as the minelab, Neil will love the ctx and together we will conquer the new world, Richard thanks for the comment, looking forward to your next video lol HH.👍 😃
+Rafman Totally agree - a site is not done well unless at least 2 very different top detectors have hit it hard. Various conditions will suit different detectors. The amount of decent finds I have found under huge lumps of coke with the etrac is great yet the deus does much better for me on sub 6" small silver in heavy trash.
oh WOW .. what a brilliant hunt for you Ian :) . a big congratulations on your first hammereds :) all great coins, that half crown was one belter :) no wonder you were buzzing :) made up for you :) .. strange the XP deus never picked the signal up, that's a little off putting for Neil :( .. what model detector do you have? ... great video, take care and HH Tina
hi Tinagsx1400, I don't know why but it didn't register a signal at all,but my ctx 3030ctx had a belting two way high pitch ,the coin was on its side that can make the difference in signal. still buzzing, it gives you a new believe in wanting to get out there thanks for the comment lol HH.👍 😃
WOOHOOOO congrats on your first hammered silver, you should've put it in the title. and that other was brilliant too, not sure if it's Celtic or what that Charles half crown was fantastic! thumbs up....where's the hammy dance? I see there's some shit kicking off in the comments!
hi Paul, the comment from certain parties took the shine off a great day, thank you for your support, there comment was so hurtful and it ruined my weekend and I almost gave up youtube, but thanks to the Coin_meister I will keep having a go, I love our detecting community and it is more than detecting, I class everyone as friends ,anyway all the best lol HH.👍 😃
hi Paul, I will proberly put my back out if I dance, but yes I was buzzing, what a absolutely amazing permission i can't wait to get the ctx,s bashing the fields, and hopefully more silver, thanks for the comment , me and Neil will put all doubters in there place when we pop out coin after coin, but you have set the bar very high in hammered finds ,I'm not worthy, anyway keep up the good work, lol HH.👍 😃
there nice and shiny how old are they ? i've lots of full silver ornaments i have to polish them every year . does silver in the ground stay shiny ? it will be nice to no if you can help
hi Rose, it sometimes comes out looking brand new and other times it does not look silver, but silver and gold are natural minerals of the earth and it does survive better than most other metals. Thanks for your comment lol.👍 😃
hi Andy, forget the dogs ,no but the deus is still a top detector and has its own strengths, and can out detect most other detectors but on silver I do believe minelab delivers, lol.👍 😃
Great finds. Well done! Excellent video :)
Cracking finds .....who'd have thought there was So much history on Ynys Mon! Well Done .
hi Phil Price, steeped in history, from the druids, celtic, roman, vikings, civil war etc, thanks for the comment lol HH.👍 😃

hi Andy, forget the dogs ,no but the deus is still a top detector and has its own strengths, and can

lol, do you think coinmaster had his settings wrong ?
Hi Andy ,no he knows his deus inside out, what I think is sometimes a coin on its side Is much more difficult to get a signal lol.👍 😃
