This Streamlabs Desktop setting is also available in OBS. Using this settings allows your bitrate to dynamically change when there is congestion or instability with your network, resulting in lower quality instead of dropped frames during those time periods.

my frames are still dropping, i have a feeling that twitch is just deciding to drop my stream specifically, nothing else is lagging and my internet speed is high
edit: I fixed it by lowering the bitrate to 5000, twitch limits it to 6000 but if you set it to that it often goes above the limit and twitch drops the frames

@@itsTargeter Switching the encoder from NVIDIA to Software x264 solved it for me, I think it was my graphics card not keeping up, and because my CPU is powerful now it keeps up fine.

I actually had to turn this option off to fix it
