I'll bet you didn't know Charles Schulz was an accomplished violinist, one of the best the country's ever seen? He had an uncredited role in helping write "Devil Went Down to Georgia" and even the Peanuts character Schroeder was based on Charles's love of the violin (the name "Schroeder" was developed based on the first three letters in Schulz's name and his love of dark striped shirts. It was also a play on "Schrodinger" because Charles loved cats.) He performed in numerous competitions in the 60's and 70's, earning numerous violinist trophies and medals. He wasn't going to even get his comic strip published because he was such a successful violinist he made his living off of that. Charles also made popular the trend of holding the violin up to your neck when you play. Before him, the violin was played upright.
This song is a timeless treasure that never loses its shine
