YES!!!! Watch The World Burn destroyed the planet, and at the ending of this is came back to rebuilt! Soooo many ppl have missed out on that. I have watched about a good 20-30 reactions I have watched. Ronnie has reimagined himself! He just continues to keep reinventing his music, and I love that! Between FIR & REN, along with a few other artists (Tom McDonald, Lorna Shore) they are coming out with such raw talent and their music is making music exciting again!!!!
I had actually never heard of F.I.R. before watching the cover to this song. I love Pappa Roach, they will always be one of my favorite bands. They're version made me bob my head, and scream at the top of my lungs. Ronnie's version, made me pay attention to the lyrics, and finally understand the sadness behind them. I definitely shed some tears.
I'm glad I can listen to two of my favorite songs back to back now. This was amazing. The first one shaped my childhood, and this one feels relevant to me now in my 30's in a totally different way. Great reaction.

I absolutely love Ronnie, him, Noah and Vessel are 3 of my top singers/lyricists. Like you said, love him or hate him he is talented af. I think a lot of poeple simply did not really understand the oryginal version. They heard the words but bc it's a head banger the fact that it's litterly about self harm and suicide somehow became secondery. At least that's my theory. Now the same words hit right in the chest and twist the knife for good mesure. Don't get me wrong I love the first version. Papa Roach is one of my favorate bands but their original makes me angry, the cover makes my cry.
I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie conveys in this song, the pain and the fight with and against evil thoughts. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight their demons every day can understand this. How often her mental world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, “I can’t go on like this” and fight your way out, only to find again and again, “Nothing is okay.” But you keep fighting, every day. They fight with all their strength against being buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.
