Hey man thanks for the shout out! Thanks for actually reading what I had said about the little details. Seeing a creator actually care to correct this mistakes speaks volumes. Hopefully I didn’t come off rude, the viper is my dream car and I just wanted to help with your build videos to be as accurate as possible.
Not even 1% rude but entirely helpful. I was excited to make all 10 Vipers and whilst I may have spent ages on things like crew colours, I was entirely too quick with wheels, I think often not using photos with the best resolution and maybe landing on the odd car that had a wheel upgrade.
@@Retset I must admit you didn’t absolutely nail the custom colors like the snakeskin green and the GTC purple ACR! Hopefully you make more Viper irl builds in the future, I’m here for it!
@@TheRenegade. Thanks. Your comment on the colour is both pertinent and interesting. It often comes up and I certainly never always feel they are nailed but there is rather more to the answer that I reckon deserves it's own video. I shall not answer any more here but will think of a good way to present it, maybe updating my old crew colours video at the same time (which I have meant to do for months!)
I literally have to try and refrain from slapping Cheetah RRs on almost every car but they’re too good. From the Rebla to the OG 9F.. they’re just too good.
@@jjthomson2815 on console I assume? I have read on comments that the plate method does work but I can’t verify that as I don’t own a console. Alternatively, buy a second if it is still on sale with black wheels. Or just use Cheetah RR as they look similar to sidewinders.
Nope. I thought the same so drove to the car meet to see if I could find anything HSW but couldn't. I thought it was supposed to be December but now it's the holiday season ...
Agreed. You won't get it back again (at least I believe that is the case). I did this video so everything can be as accurate as possible but that doesn't mean you should necessarily lose the stock wheel in black, unless you know you will mainly make ACR variants.
I definitely prefer them of the two. If painting the stock wheels is not an option (console) and they haven't been purchased on a car or have been changed out, the Cheetah RR works extremely well for non-ACR cars, even if not quite right.
@Retset Apart of lacking holes they are far more accurate to me. Btw you can't switch stock rims paint on console? The trick with going into SP works fine on PC still.
@@ThisiscoolGAMES Yes but I feel this is clearer. Amended the original video description to say look at new build sheet for correct wheels. Just trying to make it as obvious as possible
I do! Well, I can't do irl cars in GTA and not quite hit the irl bit. I imagine far fewer people care about the contents of this video than watched the main Viper videos but I can sleep easy ;)

RetSet we all make mistakes in videos. its fine we will learn from our mistakes. but anyways nice video love your style of editing.
Many thanks! I can rest easy now the corrected build sheets are out there!
@@Retset we're only human afterall!
@tangerinedream8987 Cheers!
Back when I started buying and customising cars in GTA the Cheetah RR was always the answer, its the Holy Grail
and we bow before it. A gorgeous style of wheel ...

Admitting mistakes just shows integrity. Refreshing to see!
Thanks! Does nobody any good just brushing it under the carpet.
Great content. Is it possible to build the gts-r concept as featured in gran turismo?
Not having the game, I've just looked it up. It may be. I'll need to get in game to look at the customisation options
Is it still possible to get black stocks? I tried the custom plate method but the car doesn't show up, is there a way

I didn't check this update out but i know they said they will add expanded and enhanced to pc so im wondering if they have finally done it?

I just like I have the stock wheel in black I don’t think I will change it since I’m on console

Imo Cheetah RR rims are better mostly cause the stock ones ride on rubberbands which looks just awful.

@@IgI24PL From what I have been told, it's only on PC that we can paint stock rims. I don't own a console so can't be 100% sure
You know you can just post a pinned comment to the regular video rather than making an entire new video only saying you messed up… 🤷🏾♂️
