I think it's like that because since the mod is based on background characters, having grid spaces with background characters when they are not in use would completely ruin the point

you know what this freeform format is good for? organization and quick response time with the normal 7 polo selection too often do i miss the static polo with an icon just moments before the loop changes, screwing up a transition in the process this format though? this is good, very good, i look forward to other mods adopting this layout
