There is a strange calm in Major General Ramindra Chhetri’s face. His sense of contentment is apparent to anyone who gets the privilege of being acquainted with him in person. The man is first a soldier, always has been, then a family man; his world revolves around his sense of duty and sacrifice for the nation more than anything else; and nothing will keep him from meeting his obligations and living up to the highest standards of service in Nepali Army -- not even a disabling injury on the line of duty at the hands of his adversaries.
Major General Ramindra Chhetri is a committed serviceman; a true instance of a warrior elite who never gave up; an exemplary trooper whose story is a fitting testament to a fundamental truth of life, “ That which does not kill us, makes us stronger”; and this is his walk of life.
