Me too . At first I was like why is Woddy playing his bass like a lead then he started going off . The crazy thing is I’ve been a mule fan since early 2000s and I had no idea this project/ band existed
I was fortunate to see this tour , in CT. This is great. I learned that night that woody could play guitar , had seen him a bunch only on bass. I saw him play the bass mandolin combo , probably on John the Revelator
Wow!! I mean... just Wow!! That must have been a great night to be there!! Had no idea Woody could tear up a 6-string like that!! Thanks a million for posting!! RIP Al...
Omg MG thank you so so much for this very heavy an I mean very very heavy piece of music an to see an hear Allen play guitar with such passion is all to much to get a grip on!Thank you Thank youThank you
WOW! actual video very cool ...i saw them 2/4/00 in atlantic city,n.j. ...what a musican Allen was...excellent lineup .....i can`t believe Allen has been gone for almost 10 years! RIP Allen... PEACE...
wharffratt seriously??? Jerry above Jimi in a power trio with Allen on bass? I’ll assume you just made a mistake. Bonham grossly overrated tho - bad choice for drummers. Moon was waaaay better.
well going by this video, woody was a very good guitar player, but theres no surprise here considering he was a motherblankin savant on bass, the other genius move here is the very respsctful transition that marc makes from woody playing to him taking over, very classy, very cool jam!!
Pretty damn good for a bass player. Too bad he's gone. One of my all-time favorite bassists. Truely original style. Really drove the mule if you know what I mean.
This is so bizzare. I was a this show. (you can see the back of my bald head on the beginning!) I just thought of it and here it is! Gee who's gonna play me in the film of my life?!?! :)
It seems that we never fully appreciate our best until they're gone. RIP Allen Woody 🎸😪
Thank you to whoever captured this moment on video and to whomever preserved it and posted it.
Woody really could play anything with strings... I had no idea he was that good at lead guitar. Thanks for the post!

Me either, and to hear Marc and Woody with dueling leads is TOO good.

This is becoming one of my most watched videos on RUclips. The guitar solo Woody lays down is just incredible. It has such heart and soul in it.

A.W. ripping one off on the 6 string?! Never witnessed him play any guitar until finding out about Blue Floyd today. Awesome!
Wood knew more than everyone else real thing leading the charge and backing up everyone else at the same time ❤
Glad Marc gave my mother her haircut back after this gig!

Crisp, clean and soulful playing by Woody there. First time hearing him on guitar but not surprised by his excellence.

wow tearin it up , RIP Allen Woody

RIP Woody! He's now 1/3rd of heaven's house power trio band. Woody on Bass, Jerry on lead, and Bonham on drums.
wharffratt seriously??? Jerry above Jimi in a power trio with Allen on bass? I’ll assume you just made a mistake. Bonham grossly overrated tho - bad choice for drummers. Moon was waaaay better.

Shit didn't know Woody could play like this..
He has a nicer more musical touch than a lot of full-time guitarists!

Oh my
Did anyone tell Johnny Neel the story about the Emperor's pajamas? Lol. I came here for the Wood-shed.
Should have let Woody swap over to bass after he played his guitar solo. Then let him rip on it for a few bars. You know, show them how it's done.
I never knew Woody was such a badass on guitar as well! RIP
