Considering what a hit these were, it is real bummer that they are being discontinued only a year after release. Goes to show that sourcing of raw materials is a real issue. Makes me really worried about the baked shades being in the same catergory...
Now I’m curious about their next move. Let’s see.. As for the baked shades, I’m seeing new releases in that formula (see Guerlain new quad with the purple) so I hope for the best! 🤞
These are the blushes that made me use blush daily. So natural and glowy while being a powder. I’m sad they’re going. My favourite shade is 09- very natural and goes with everything.
Very interesting and thorough. And very needed video, especially now, when one have to make a quick decision. I’m very intrigued why did you declutter Valentino's blushes. I’ve never bought one, but everyone seems to love them. To me they look cheap, I mean the packaging :) thank you very much
I decluttered my Valentino blush 09 (Poudre), because it was practically a dupe of Suqqu melting blush 04. I prefer the Suqqu one because it’s fragrance-free
@@bobmindset that makes sense:) I’ve heard that Valentino’s blushes have a very strong fragrance. But besides the the scent is the formula similar to Suqqu? I’m a minimalist ;) I like to keep my makeup stack small and use up my cosmetics. The Suqqu 04 is the one I’d like to buy the most, but it’s only available for double or even triple the price. I could buy the Valentino 09 instead but I get the feeling, i’ll always regret not buying the Suqqu :)
I think there will be the chance to get Suqqu 04 again. They said they will restock the melting blushes multiple times during the year. Valentino is similar, but not exactly the same formula, obviously. I would recommend to wait for Suqqu 04 from official retailers. I’m confident it will be available again until the end of 2023
