Started seeing the Scene at original Birchmere in late 70’s …played every Thursday night. Fell instantly in love. Saw them last year ( Summer of 23’ ) and the personal changes but they still got it!

I started going to Seldom Scene shows in 1975 back at the original Birchmere. When they did this show in 1991 I convinced about 20 of my Cleveland friends to join me at the show and they were blown away. Thanks for posting so many great memory of this show. You are Awesome!

Ben Eldridge has one of the most unique styles of playing banjo! I LOVE it! You can easily pick him apart from other players. So clean, extremely fast and polished. If you love Bluegrass, we all miss John Duffy. I really enjoy his and Sam Bush's mandolin playing styles. So much energy and fluidity. Miss this group a ton. Great video. Thanks for sharing- Jeremy

Matthew McCord That's right! 😉😆He is a mathematician. A brilliant banjo-matician...these fellas were so fun together. I could've only dreamed to actually be in the energy of a live show. One of a kind. Wow. His son is a terrific guitarist as well!
