In celebration of the 565's discontinuation, here is one final hurrah for the machine I despise more than any other. Good riddance, you piece of sh*t, You will not be missed.
R.I.P., MVWC565FW… ⚰️😔 However, if my Mother ever lets me have a Washer of my own, I’d definitely do the MVWC465HW or even the MVWC350AW or the WTW4880AW, either Tall Impeller (with Agitator attached) or Dual-Action Agitator!
That's a tough one. I typically recommend the Speed Queen TC5 when someone wants a machine that lasts and lasts and lasts. However, not everyone can swing the price, so the GE GTW465 or Amana NTW4516 tend to be better value. I struggle to recommend any impeller top loader, even though I don't completely hate my WTW4850.
Those things suck dog crap. My aunt had one, it was probably one of the WORST machines we ever had. The "agitator" kept breaking off and the whole damn machine died in less than 3 years. Shame on Maytag using the Centennial nameplate from their old good machines and slapping it onto this hunk of crap. It deserves to go to washing machine hell.
@@biggysmoovemusic7777 you'll be seeing in the coming months as they are rolled out. All I know is I haven't been happier about a machine being discontinued. I don't expect the replacements to be that much better, if at all, but that doesn't stop me from being incredibly happy that these are gone.
Whirlpool should bring back dd machines. The government’s regulations with water and power usage with washers is getting weaker with time. GE and Speed Queen have already found loopholes through the regulations. Now whirlpool has to find a loophole and we basically have the golden age of appliances again.

Hopefully it gets replaced soon with a Glass Lid one, so my argument with my Mother on the running of the Washers with the Lids open would end & that I would be able to see the wash action, even with the Lid shut. 🙏🏻

I don't think I'll be able to say that about the machines that are going to be replacing this, but I reserve judgment till I see one. The 575, while unreliable, is at least decent at cleaning.

Don’t buy Samsung. They still explode. Buy Maytag MVWC565FW0, WTW4816FW, or the used ones like WTW4800BQ, MVWC300BQ, WTW4800XQ, or one of the used direct drive machines on the store full of used appliances. I would recommend those ones.
