Backstreet Boys saved my life 23 years ago when I was a bullied Teen. It was a sad period of my life, people were dying everyday in my country, school was a nightmare. I thought about suicide and running away from home many times. It was like I will never find a way untill I heard "As long as you love me". It was the firt time that I saw White men sing like this. The music video was released everyday on foreign channel around 6am. So I woke up everyday at 6am to have the chance to listen To them. I didn't understand a word but I loved the song so much. It helped me in a way that I can never explain. 3 years later, I could finally understand the lyrics and I cried a lot. This song saved my life at a time where I wasn't able To get the meaning but it went right to my heart. So Thank you so much for making this kind of music. You will never know how many people you saved threw the years. I Will forever be grateful to you guys ❤

They split in 2001 and reunited in 2005 for the Up Close & Personal Tour, before releasing Incomplete and Never Gone. During that period, they lost a large number of fans and people who buy their records.

I was introduced to the backstreet boys in 2004 when I was 10. I was absolutely blown away listening to their amazing music. But that was the time when they were moving towards their decline. I always had this thing that I've never experienced their dominance the way they had it in 1999-2001, and once musicians hit their low it's next to impossible to bounce back and reach those same heights. But then in 2012 Kevin returned to the group and it was like their long lost lucky charm was back. "In a world like this" did fairly well in 2013 and now "DNA" is absolutely on fire, "Don't go breaking my heart" even got nominated for the Grammy's. They're back in the news here and there, they're getting the deserved airplay again. It feels like their prime is coming back. It might not be as huge as "Millennium" but it is worth living in this day and age as a backstreet fan. Feels great. KTBSPA
BSB were massive in the late 90s as well really made their mark around 1996 - 1997 but exploded even more in 1999 when the dropped Millennium

Backstreet Boys are the legends of music industry. I feel so happy that even after all these years,they don't fail to deliver and they keep their fandom alive by their extraordinary story telling. I highly commend Steve Aoki for bringing together this awesomeness. God bless these boys.
So interesting. People with "struggle story" in this video were black&white at first, and then colored at the end.
And, from BSB, only Brian has a full-screen shoot of black&white. (he doesn't say anything, but apparently he looks emotional) Then that black＆white Brian gets color at the end too. Wow, probably this means a lot. Fans know that he's been through a lot with his health problems (heart disease, infection, dysphonia, dystonia, etc.) so... I just have to say welldone to the director. And Brian, you're one of the true fighters.
I thought the exact same thing. he is a seriously strong and willed person to keep on fighting for people and what he loves (singing and probably some other stuff we don't know about). I'm a big fan of him and always will be. He is a fighter.

Losing your voice is horrible! I also have a heart disease and I lost my voice at some point. Now I speak like an animated character, people always ask me when they meet me "did you shout too much yesterday". It's traumatizing. And for Brian, his voice is his identity, his work, his blessing. So it must be million times harder for him. He's a truly strong person and he deserves a lot of respect for what he's doing. Also, I didn't know Baylee had also a heart disease. That sucks big time...

Seeing them fly in on what appeared to be air boards and wearing their shinny flamboyant costumes was so exciting. I’m so thankful for the tone of this video. I’ve been a fan since 1997 and I met BSB in 2005 in Sydney. Despite stalking them to their hotel, they were so lovely and gracious, especially Kevin and Howie. My husband has surprised me with tickets to their Sydney concert for our anniversary in May next year and I cannot stop listening to their music, especially this song.
