I just wish there was some way to play with/battle against your friends. The only problem I could see with it would be a way to balance both sides but I think multiplayer would make this game hilarious.

I think this games great, although being able to have those naval gladiatorial battles would be fun as well as wild beast fights. Also like an endgame kind of thing where if you finish all the professions you can choose one of them to lead like a gladiator uprising.

Baron (or anyone else who plays this game), check out the Long Spiked Mala! I've put in a ton of hours in this game, and for my money it's the absolute best weapon. It has one of the best mixes of speed and range at 58 and 70, and great bonuses too. Ignores 25% of armor, and it deals +50% damage to shields so until enemies get metal shields it can smash through them in a few hits. It's also very easy to keep it in it's optimum range and to get momentum behind your swings, but what really sets it apart is the stab! That stab has won me more battles than I can count, it comes out so fast and can really catch the AI off guard. It's on the cheaper side for what you get at about $8k, and is regularly used by opponents so it's easy to get from either the store or a Spoils battle.

The trick I use to beat difficult opponents...easy opponents....medium-hard opponents...slightly-difficult-but-kinda-easy opponents is to just over head swing a two-handed weapon. 60% of the time it works every time and the AI seems to be really bad at protecting their heads and it's easy sailing from there on out.

This game is really fun! The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of a proper character creation interface (just physical).
It would be cool if you could roll your class/attributes and then name & design your dude.
I really want to create Guts (Berserk) lol.

Challenge ideas:
unarmed-never buy a weapon, just enter fights unarmed and pick whatever weapon the crowd throws at you.
Prince of pan-the only weapon you could use is a frying pan.
Marksman-fight enemies by only throwing your weapons.
