- I'm using the Disney Dining Plan in this vlog, starting off with a quick service meal at The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge and then later on I head to the Tuskar House for Character Dining. I show you how you can now pre-order with the app and use your dining credits as well check on your dining credit balance.

DLP on my own ? What do u think ? I am nervous to book so I will probably have to drag a friend with me as none of my family will do Disney 😢
@@joeysaunz oh GO FOR IT! I've not done a full DLP solo trip but I've been there for a day and night solo (arrived a day earlier than my sis) and I LOVED it - honestly it's a totally different feeling being at Disney solo but I really enjoy it!
I would love to hear your thoughts on the cost of the program! It sounds cool to have food prepaid but I am afraid that I will end up paying much more and not having a lot of flexibility.

Very enjoyable solo relaxed day, and a lovely show of animals too. I would love such a day, it would be a must for me too. I thought your hair looked very good when you went out, later in the day. It was interesting to see a solo meet with characters, as I would find that very awkward. It’s amazing how much effort they put in to caring for a variety of different people.

Loved this video so much Karen! I got emotional this was my home park back in my Disney entertainment days and seeing my “friend “ Donald at Tuskar House brings back so many memories! Your walking tour through the park was wonderful! I always feel like DAK is a great solo day just to relax in ❤️🦒🦓🌳 such an enjoyable vlog!

Looks fun, thanks for the insights to the quick service dining plan, I have it for my July trip this year for the first time and will need to get used to it.
Take a Motrin before or right after the run to prevent the soreness. I had a big rain and spent hours hand pulling weeds easily with no soreness. First time in my life.

I had a dinner alone at Tusker House in 2019. All of the characters came over a pointed to the empty chairs-like they were asking where the other people were. My son didn’t want to come so I told them and they gave me the heart symbol with their hands - saying that they loved me! It was adorable! And I told my son when I got back to the room that I told all the characters felt bad for me!

I can’t do the dining plan cuz too much food, I also usually stay at least 5 days at a hotel, way too much food. I’d have to do 2 days to use it.
Ye I think a split stay is the only way I could do it so I could do part on and part off the dining plan
@karenbee how did you find the process of showing ID? We were told that we had to have 3 forms of ID as just a passport or just a driving licence wasn't enough?
Oh gosh that's intense! I just showed my drivers licence, but at Boma I showed both my drivers licence and a picture of my passport. 3 seems very excessive! I don't even have 3!
