What we know about pavilion reservation: (1) You can apply for one pavilion between 3-2 month before the date you visit. It shows up on your ticket page when you have applicable tickets. This is lottery, and you can request up to five pavilions in case you can’t get them. eg. No.1 sauna 2. Japan Paviliion... (2) Another lottery can be applied 1 month to 8 days prior to your visiting date. (3) You can apply for any available spots for the day you visit, between 3 days prior to your visit to 9am of previous day you visit. (note) 1. So you can have maximum 3 pavilions booked at the time of entering the Expo. Some pavilions you can just walk in without reservation. 2. When you apply for venues with multiple tickets, you can click "Apply for the same reservation / lottery for multiple tickets." written in gray on the My Ticket page. Not the red button on each ticket.
Just finished your Christmas illumination livestream. It was awesome. Thank you for your hard work. I hope to visit Osaka next year. Merry Christmas, Kengo san!🎄🎄🎄☃☃☃🌺🌺🌺
Thanks for the new info! My friend and I will be visiting Japan in April next year and we're considering the Expo but the first available info were confusing. We'll be staying in Kyoto too so we really have to plan a day for this.
I’m going to the Expo in May 2025. To get the Ticket was not easy. I now have a ticket but not much information about the layout of the pavilions and how to book a time slot for each of them 😮
Merry Christmas Kenchan! Hopefully the expo is an interesting and worthwhile event to attend. Not sure that I will return for the expo so it will be something that I will miss haha
Merry Christmas Ryuga san! I really hope you are having a wonderful time. I will report for you once it starts. I hope it's something worthwhile as you said... ^^;
i have april 14th in osaka, but it is a lot of hazzle to get tickets and a chance to see the gundam pavillion, guess i will skip it and just go back to odaiba :(
It sounds so complicated and such a hassle. I'm already stressed about the itinerary for the trip to Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. I really don't need more headache for EXPO LOL
Thanks Kenchan. I am going to Osaka 2025 Expo in mid-May with regards to the National Day of my country Canada. I have bought the "First-Half Period Ticket" (5000 yen) with the admission day and time reserved. Further research on the website mentions about reservation of "Lottery Tickets" with a specific time frame that allows you to register for certain pavilions or events. My preliminary guess is that you have to reserve a digital ticket in order to visit "any" pavilion in addition to your admission ticket. Really? This is my second visit to Expo held in Japan. Last one was the Tsukuba Expo in 1985 but regrettably I don't have much recollection of the visit except the nicely-printed and illustrated book I bought with a few stamps of some pavilions. I look forward to the visit.
Hello Chow san, my understanding is you can apply for (as it's lottery) one pavillion 2 month prior to your visit (it comes up on the page if you have tickets) , and another one 7 days prior to the visit, and one more 3 days prior to visit (this one is first come first serve). And once you go in the Expo, you can book another one. So at the time of entry, you have 3 reservation + pavilions availabe to walk in. I wish it was easier! ^^
Frankly the website is terrible and the ticketing a mess. We are flying in may to visit and I'm still lost as to what to do. Not enough English language information.

I am planning to go in May or June, and see if should go there for two or three days.

Hello Kenchan
We are planning our next visit to Hokkaido in summer 2025
Hopefully hotels won't be too costly
Cheers
I bought the Opening Ticket just to see the Gundam and nothing else, don't care about the other events. 😁
Did it let you get it? I couldn’t figure out how to

@ Thanks Kenchan. Your explanation on lottery applications is precise and clear.
holy smolly i thought the expo was free to roam around
The tickets are not selling according to the news
Does it worth it to do 2 days or a waste of money?
I'm debating if I should to the same or not.
Well there be complaints on over tourism? Will give Kansai a miss during the expo.
It can be more busy during Expo. ^^;

Thank you Helen san. I'd like to add this tag to the video. :)

Yes, somehow I couldn't display the English page. The sysmtem of booking pavilion is a concern to me. I hope it improves and works out for you.
oh come on. dubai expo was way better handle ( ticket wise )
I live in Osaka and I will NOT be going and waisting my money.
