I love your videos. Please do not pay attention to thumbs down. You have way more thumbs up.
I like B5200 for my snowmen.

Another nice video. Thumbs down? Forget it! You have so many more thumbs up. I don't have a favorite white for snowmen. It depends on the fabric that I'm using. I tend to like more prim patterns but I don't like my snowmen to be dirty looking but I don't like bright white either. it's always a trial and error and I normally choose an overdyed floss. Always a pleasure Shelly!

Hi I would never give a thumbs down I would just not watch that person like you said. I really enjoy your videos thank you for making them. I love anchor white too for snowmen. I am thinking of using a glittery thread for a Santa beard I’m working on after all he is magical !

I’ve noticed that a lot of posts on RUclips and FB have thumbs down or the laughing emoji. Sometimes I think they’re trolls. Ignore them. There’s more of us enjoying your videos!

As ever a very interesting video and it is lovely to see all the corners of your shop and its "goodies". You give your time and we are all grateful for all the updates of charts etc. You certainly will never get a thumbs down. Thank you

Another enjoyable video! I have heard a lot of good things about anchor white but have never tried it. I use DMC 5200. I liked seeing all the new shop models, just beautiful. I like how you move around your shop and always showing us new and interesting things, I don’t always get to comment on your videos but I always watch (mostly at work) and please don’t worry about the thumbs down there is always that one person who is never happy. Happy Stitching!

Hi!! Please don't let the "thumbs down" discourage you. I don't have a ton of time to watch floss tube so I am pretty picky about who I watch. You are one of three floss tubers that I watch every time a video pops up. You have interesting content and it's great to get a shop owner's perspective who is also a stitcher. Besides, you are a really nice person and I enjoy our "visits". :-) Have a wonderful stitchy week!!

Shelly you do a great job and are always very informative. Keep up the good work.
I'm really not to fussy on my snowman color. I usually just stitch with what the designer uses as it usually coordinates with the rest of the colors in the design that caught my eye and made me want to stitch it. Have a great week!

I appreciate so much your attitude of thankfulness. You're so positive and friendly. When you were talking about the thumbs down, I thought about the time that I, by mistake, hit the down instead of the thumbs up and I couldn't edit what I had done. I, like you, would just move on if I didn't like something. I love your Kiss on the Lips pattern...so cute. I'm stitching Merry Three from Plum Street today. I'm trying to finish up so that I can use it in my holiday decorating. I'm with you about the white floss. Merry Three had Weeks Parchment for Santa's beard and the snowflakes. I used DMC white and I'm so glad I did. I've also used B5200, just depends on the pattern. Happy stitching!

I love your videos, no need for a thumbs down! And your shop is wonderful...I've been there twice many years ago when I had family in the Cleveland area. Wish I lived closer! I tend to use DMC B5200 as my bright white for snowmen.

Sometimes it’s easy to hit the thumbs down by accident too! Don’t worry about those. I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos, especially your tips and tricks and all of the new stuff that you bring into your shop. It’s nice to have a Perspective from the shop side! I have a hard time remembering stuff from each video in order to comment especially as I’m usually binge watching on a device while doing something else. Thanks for doing these videos!

You're adorable! I want to take a road trip to OH just to visit you and your shop. And it's amazing how much 'behind the scenes' work goes into doing these videos that most people would never think about. From just dipping my toe into the few videos I've made, it definitely brings a whole new appreciation. I've always used DMC white or 3865, but ever since you talked about the Anchor white in one of your first videos, that's been on my wish list.

I am watching this a bit late but how interesting, I wondered why there where thumbs down on more popular floss tubes too. I am of your thinking I would just move on, however some people are just not so nice so I would ignore it, just know that we love watching. I love seeing the real stitching samples it really inspires the purchase and stitch of charts I wasn't sure of. Thank you so much.

The thought and preparation you put into your videos definitely comes through every time. Have you ever heard of "What other people think of me is none of my business?" (that assumes your good intentions in speech and behavior) and "hurt people, hurt people". Have no worries your channel is excellent.

I don't wish to be entered in the drawing but would like to ask what anyone recommends for white floss on oatmeal fabric. I purchased some DMC Charlescraft lite oatmeal fiddler's aida and the DMC white floss is just not showing up well on it. Any suggestions would be welcomed. I like your attitude of gratitude by the way!

I love your videos, Shelly! Do not give any thought to a ‘thumbs down’! People can be so unkind...no reason for it at all! I enjoy your weekly stitching inspiration and always learn something from you, too. My choice for white depends on the project. For a more prim look, I like an off white look...toasted Marshmallow, for example. I also rely on the old standby, DMC white...don’t have the number.😔. Happy Snowy Monday from SE Michigan ❄️☃️!

Oh yes, I use the DMC white and sometimes B5200 for a real pop! Right now I am working on the Triplets( Harry, Henry and Jack) by All Through the Night and I am using DMC white for the boys. I am stitching them all together on one piece of fabric. Also I just got Yuletide on Thistle Hill from the framer and I LOVE it. I think Abby Rose is becoming one of my favorite designers.

Teresa Vanette had a video awhile back and she asked everyone to give her a thumbs down. I think it was because someone did give her one and she said that she wanted as many as she could get, so it could be like a test or something like that or to just get all the thumbs downs over with. That is the only thumbs down I have ever given, and it was hard to do it too, lol. I always like to see the models you have hanging up. Some people use different fabric or threads and sometimes it's a better look than the model photo on the pattern. Sometimes, not all the time, lol. I use DMC B5200 for every pattern that calls for white. I started railroading just my white stitches a few months back and I must have had a pattern with a slew of white, because I was railroading ALL my stitches without even realizing it. It slowed me down a lot and I have just now been getting back to a normal rhythm again, or so I think I have, lol. Take care, Ruth.

I saw someone commenting once that she accidentally pressed the thumb down and she couldn't reverse it. So that might be the reason too sometimes. I like to stitch a snowman with B5200. I don't have easy acvess to fancy floss and if you buy online it might look different than what you see on the screen.

I have to admit that I once accidentally hit the thumbs down on someone's video. I felt really bad, but once done there's no way to take it back. Maybe you can assume any thumbs down you receive are just a klutzy person like myself! I've used the DMC white, the Anchor white and 3865. Liked them all!

I wouldn’t worry about the thumbs down, learn to laugh at seeing them, as you look at ALL the thumbs up 👍🏼 They Totally Outweigh the other. Congrats scissor winners. B5200 for snow. WDW Porcelain.

Beautiful models. My favorite white thread is DMC B5200.

I can’t imagine anyone giving you a thumbs down! For a white that I really want to show bright for snow I use DMC B5200. However if it a primitive piece and I need white I like to use Dmc 3865 (I think that’s the number lol)

I always wondered about the thumbs down as well. I figure if you don't like it you won't watch it so I don't really get why people would do that. As for white...hmmm I hate stitching with white even though I picked the polar bear series from Madame Chantilly. I am stitching it with DMC blanc but I can't say I care for it. B5200 is slightly better though I've heard Anchor is the way to go. I'm with you, I don't like my snowmen to look dirty or peed on but if it is a critter I can change to grey (like a rabbit) I will do that. Thanks for another great episode. ~Tara
