I asked about possible lead times on UK orders, I ordered the XC90 T8 Plus MY23 back in Jan 22. I have now been given a delivery date of mid-July to the dealer. Looks like Jan - Mar order is a 6-7 month lead time, anything after that up to12 months.
It does Scott, curious to see how the next Volvo will look like.. Thanks for the info on the lead times, they seem similar to the NL ones currently. Hopefully production won't have any further issues down the line this year. :-)
this and the Volvo Embla are top of my list when my lease expires in spring 2024....unless Volvo comes out with an actual electric wagon like a new V90 or V60....then that will be my perfect daily driver!
Thats actually a pretty nice time as I'm expecting by then that both versions will have other batteries and engines on offer as well, so price and such might be a bit more 'friendly' heading into 2024. Lets see! I would love an V90 EV, fingers crossed for something like that... :-)
I hope the production models look better than the prototypes. I’ve always been a fan of Volvo wagons but these new designs aren’t very good. They just have an extremely generic look, like cars in the Saints Row game series.
Polestar 3 looks amazing... awsome lines especially the backend and cool tech

They most likely will share some tech parts for sure. The Emira also carries Lynk&Co parts, eg on the steering wheel. :-)
