Happy 2025, Rion and hello from Melbourne, Australia! I'm so happy your channel appeared in my RUclips feed, after watching for a few minutes, I immediately subscribed. I love your friendly, upbeat way of presenting, with great humour, plus lots of useful and interesting information. The pace/speed was perfect and your English is fantastic. Can't wait to watch your other videos and I look forward to your new videos also. Thank you for all your hard work 😊
Love all your contents; be it short or long vlogs and even livestreams! All of them are informative and entertaining. Thank you and grateful for your hard work in preparing and arranging for all the contents! Keep up the awesome work! ❤
Thanks for the 2nd NY day visiting Tokyo popular spots. I remember the huge crowds of temple visitors on the 1st NY day some years ago. This time it was more comfortable to wait for traditional praying there In addition to that it is really warm for January, so many people are everywhere in town except the Ueno park. But the shrine with so many lanterns looked magical. Wishing you all your plans for 2025 come true. I will try to follow with pleasure. Stay safe and healthy! GAAOOO.....
Happy New Year! Gotta catch up with some sleep after a long few days. Cant wait to watch the first video of the year! 🎉 Thanks again for your continued hard work.
I love the way you say it, "This year will be different!" with a positive attitude. Let us hope for the best in everyone! Be happy and healthy. More adventures this 2025!🎉
I have had many holidays in Japan and did lots of research before hand in fact a YEARS research as I wanted to get things perfect, Yours video's are always very helpful & I learn new ways of getting around japan and places to visit thank you for your work on your walks
🎉Happy New Year! I missed the days when we send and receive Christmas cards in the mail. I remember elementary kids gave each other and the teachers Valentine Day ❤cards too. So sweet! 🥰 Maybe this year you can do a New Year countdown in Osaka? Break-through year trying new things? 🙌⭐️
Love your videos!❤🎉 I can’t wait to see the 2025 travel videos you will post, I’m exited that you are earning the courage to be more adventurous. Let’s keep going!😊 🐅
Happy New Year! Just missee you in Ueno and Asakusa. I have been riding around on the electric bike ~ great reccomendation 🎉😊 hope to catch you in Tokyo while we are here. gaoooo
Happy 2025, Rion! 😊🎉 May this new year brings you growth, best health, happiness, success & prosperity. And pray for 200k subscribers of ur youtube very very soon ☺️🙏
RION, good morning 🌅 to you from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. HAPPY NEW 2025 YEAR to you. Looking forward to a more exciting journey in and around Tokyo. Wishing you all the best in luck, 🍀 , joy, peachy, safety, and prosperity this year . Happy journeys 👍👍👍👍👍
Happy New Years!!🎉 As a side note, I was watching about a 5 to 6 minute VR (3D) version of this event. It looked like the line was jam packed and at a standstill.
Happy New Year 🎉🎉 I'm in Tokyo for several more days! Hope to run into you on the streets :D If not, I hope this year treats you better than the previous years
So helpful to see what it’s like in Tokyo these days, so enlightening to learn about cultural traditions & changes, so fun to hear about your family 😊 “Every man dies, not every man really lives”-a fav quote from the movie “Braveheart” 🦁 Let’s keep walking~✨!!
At 1:49 I had that great view of Sky Tree when I stayed in Asakusa back in September, it was beautiful at night! It might just have been my favorite area while there, very convenient location and lots to do. This video makes me miss it already. I didn't get to explore too much due to my time table and is why I wished that I had opted to stay longer. I almost went to Akihabara but I'm not really that big into the Anime scene so I chose not to as I had already spent so much time exploring other areas by splitting up my stays in different locations instead of just one, that really tired me out and I had wished I chose only one or two places to stay and used transit more to get around to different prefectures. I really hope I can get back again someday and visit the places I didn't have time for on that trip like Osaka, Hiroshima etc., maybe even stay longer than a week and half.
Buddhism is a philosophy not a religion. So as a Christian we also practice it as well. We find solace in the temples and practices . Hopefully you will visit places less crowded soon !
@ No it’s not Shintoism is not Buddhism Some scholars classify it as a religion but others DO NOT Your reply is degrading and not appropriate- seems YOUR school didn’t teach you manners - sad
@@HenryFL1 who are you talking to? I never said buddhism and shintoism is the same. Today buddhism is a religion. Been so since before i went to school and has been around for approx 2500 years. So it aint nothing new. Shintoism is native to japan and co-exists with buddhism. The 5 main religions are christianity, islam, hinduism, buddhism and judaism. Buddhism is definitely a religion. It is 4th largest if looking at how many practices it.
Did you know that Nagoya banned walking on escalators? Now people are able to stand on both sides! They realised it was actually more efficient and safer for old and/or disabled people. I thought it was an interesting new rule! Maybe other cities will try it out in the future.
As a foreigner visiting japan, I always liked the way Japanese stand on the escalator since it's considerate to those who wan to get down fast, why is it not efficient? and why would the government want to change that?
Happy new year 🎉 I'll be traveling to japan in April 2025. Ive been trying to look for hotels around the surrounding outer area of Tokyo. Do you recommend any hotels outside of Tokyo city with affordable prices for 2 people? Im happy i found your videos 3 years ago.
Hi Rion, next month we are coming there for 3 days. Please recommend which area we should stay in as we wanted to see 1. Shibuya Sky, 2. Tokyo Tower, 3. Cafe Capybara 4. Teamlab Borderless or Planet 5. Akihabara 6. Tsukiji. Thank you
RION, please do be extra cautious about this winter’s new COVID-19 outbreak. As there are so many tourists in Japan 🇯🇵, especially ones from Mainland China 🇨🇳, there are outbreaks of the new COVID-19 strain on the rise. May I suggest you wear a mask at highly populated places for your own health and safety. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How many videos could you watch someone talking non stop for 30-40 minutes? You pack so much, so short, so quick in one video. But you are not the only one doing it that way, unfortunately for viewers like me. You have huge dynamic in video but all information you want to give to viewers are lost due to speed and quantity. I want to blink couple of times while watching long videos.
Agree.....videos like this makes me nervous....i stoped watching this channel....non stop commenting....distracting details that is not important to many
@@ShinmegamiPersona Aproximately ten years ago started short living trend in recording tv shows by changing camera angles literary every 5-10 seconds. Word short said it all. I think you made a mistake with ADHD because this type of fast pace videos are the ones that people with ADHD would enjoy because "slow" videos are too boring for them. After watching this video once, how many things you remember what is said in video? Without watching again and without living in Tokyo, do you remember his instructions where to turn where when you encounter yourself in what place? Everything he said in video is very informative and interesting, but only at the moment he said it and that moment lasts just 10 seconds till completely new short story begins. Lots of youtubers are creating videos in this fast form.
