Cool setup man 👍🏻 The sunshade and trolling settings are very useful. Comes with a cutting board too. Is that the smallest model? Starcraft is nice and compact 😀
15-16 ft boats are the best bang for the buck when it comes to the Puget sound fishing. You don’t need much more boat for most conditions in my opinion. Easy to store and much cheaper than the bigger boats.
For sure. I was looking at 18s but it would have been an extra $110 / month in storage and you can't access the storage places at all times. And when you look at the actual deck space, the 18s (half a foot) didn't have much more since they have solid benches taking up the extra space.
Congrats again Bret! Looking forward to all the adventures on this new boat. You don't see that kind of boat around here! Is it like mostly for trolling? The amount of accessories it has! You can even wash stuff haha
Thanks. Theyre made in new zealand not many around here either. I get a lot of people talking to me at boat ramps about the boat. Even driving around people will pull up beside me and give me thumbs up and stuff.
I like the size easy to handle, launch and retrieve and should be easy to fish out of.🎣 I like how the top folds down to fit in storage and the main thing is that live bait well. I thought it was built in Australia, I hear there manufacturing facility in Port Angeles now' it should be a great boat for years to come. 👍🏻
The live bait well is one of the features I wanted with this boat. It is new but the 2022 model. The 2023s didn't have the live well, flooring or bait tables at the dealers I went to. All the 2024s were back ordered and it would have taken 4-8 months to get one. The salesman said they import them from new zealand into port angeles but salesmen have been know to lie.
That is a sick boat, Brett! It looks real slick but its set up so nice for fishing for a compact size. The cleat setup is a little weird and not sure why you would drop the canopy back, but otherwise its a great boat. Looking forward to seeing it in action.
Thanks. I have to drop the canopy so that it fits in the garage. One of the nice things is that it is so tall so big guys aren't bumping their heads like in other boats I've used.
I just looked up the price on thos boat and they are going for over 40,000 dollars. They won't be selling to many of these. They're doing their best to price themselves out of the market. I'd go 20,000 tops, not any more than that, and even that is ripoff price.
When I was shopping for boats I was looking for an 18' aluminum and most were over 40k. I tried one of these after going to the boat show and was instantly sold. Everything these days since covid is a ripoff but I am fine with the price I paid. You can't judge these boats by length alone. These are more comparable to jetskis than aluminum boats.
@PeelingLine thanks for the info. I agree that everything since covid is beyond a ripoff. Iv ben looking at bass boats. I really want one and the cheapest thing I can find that's a "bang for your buck" kind of thing that's brand new is a triton with a 115 mercury, but it's 34,000 without the Lawrence on it. I'm convinced that this country is done, so I wanna get a bass boat before it completely collapses. At least I can do something I love before the democrat trash party does something to make Putin nuke us. A bass boat for a reasonable price really isn't asking too much.
Pretty cool with the clear window livewell!! Nice troll speed adjustment. Very nice boat. Great share Brett!
Thanks 👍

Thank-you. There is a 14.5' but it has the helm at stern. It also is open bow. Yeah I like the features too.
I think this is my dream boat. 🤔 I look forward to see your many adventures in it Brett!
Hopefully I will have a lot more (in washington) now that I can go places I couldn't with the boat club.
@@PeelingLine ever go around the san juan islands?
@@chrisraymor No I haven't. I'd like to but the fishing seasons out there haven't lined up with my schedule.
May your new boat bring you happiness. Cheers.
Made in New Zealand. Made tough! You’re gonna love that boat.
I already do.
heck yeah brother thats a nice boat!. congrats and enjoying the content, thank you!.
Thank-you.
Beauty. Thanks for the walk around. Almost didn’t recognize you with the beard.
Thanks. I've been getting that a lot.
Congrats on the awesome new boat - looks like a great rig! Salmon beware!!! Tight lines! Captain Zac
Thank-you. Yep, I hope to get on a lot of the coastal and river salmon this year. Go to places I couldn't fish before.
sick boat! I have a blue 1550, usually fishing northern sound (edmonds north), but maybe 'll see you out there!
Thanks. I am usually fishing that way for salmon. You will see me there for sure.
How is your trolling motor wired? I bought one from amazon and need to install it. Any chance you could send me a picture? peelingline@gmail.com
Looks great. I'm curious to see you on the water. We're about to pick one up too.
Hope you like it!
Beauty boat! Been eyeing those too!
Thanks.
Finally, congratulations. You don't have to deal with freedom club anymore.
Thank-you. Why was your experience bad? Mine was generally pretty good.

Wow its a really good acquisition....🎉🎉🎉, enjoy brother...
Thanks I definitely will.

Nice rig !!!

They are designed and built in New Zealand!

Nice setup for sure
Thanks 👍
Really nice looking boat.... can't wait..... LOL
You got to get out here!
To a Florida boy, that is one strange looking boat! Great looking beard. You look like you could be one of the founders of Paulsbo....
Thank-you. 😂 They are from New Zealand. Super safe boats they have foam filled pontoons. You can't sink them.
What trolling motor did you put on? What length and how much thrust ?
Minn kota Ulterra riptide 112 with 60" shaft. I only have 24v hooked up so I only get 80 pounds of thrust. This can move the boat 2.5 mph.
I've seen you use a lot of different boats in your other videos, are those rentals?
Yeah they were through freedom boat club.
Sick Boat Dude!!! I bet she hauls tail!!
Oh yeah! It does. Thanks.
This is one bad little boat, I had no idea these stabicrafts were so useful with space and gadgets are sick
It really is. I was going to get an 18' Aluminum but these seemed so much better and the actual fishing space is pretty much the same.
Congratulations on the boat Brett!
Thanks
Nice boat, still around? give me a call.
