That's an impressive desk ornament! 3rd gear gone! Great to see that you're not frantically fixing the car between races this time.

Are there gear sets available that have a shallower helix angle? They'd get you closer to the strength of straight cut ones, but still fit within the rules. Also, I remember reading about cryo treatments helping gears become more resilient.

I’m not aware of anything like that and with our regs it has to be standard gears so not much I can do…

It’s managed 60 minutes of racing so far. Not much option other than chancing an original set….
