Close your eyes-the first 3-7 (ish) minutes with the Samovar bag, sounds EXACTLY like camping, sleeping in a tent, and it starts to sprinkle outside. The trees move a bit and more drops fall. If you’ve never camped, trust me, that’s what it sounds like. The ultimate ASMR 🌹
It does sound just like that. I go backpacking on week long solo trips all the time and that does sound like a tent under a tree in the rain. The smaller drops and the occasionally big drops coming from branches.

We go to sleep with your videos every night. The moment she hears your soft voice she cuddles up next to my phone (sometimes on top of my phone) and makes her cuddly doggie sounds. All I have to do is say “Do you want some whispers?” and she jumps up on my bed waiting for your voice. 🐶 Your voice is pure silk. I love the slow pace and your quieting and reassuring words. WhispersRed ASMR Thank you. Little Mia and I send lots of hugs back. 💝 Mia had an anxiety disorder when I got her (she had been mistreated as a pup). Your videos help to calm her so much. When I have to leave her home alone for an hour or so, I leave my playlist on for her that is all of our favorites of your ASMR videos. Your voice is very calming for her. When I have infusions every three weeks at the hospital I have frightening side effects that send my heart rate skyrocketing and that gives me a lot of anxiety hoping it isn’t going to take me out. I listen to your videos while I’m having my infusions and during the 4-5 days afterward of side effects that are quite miserable. My favorite thing you say is “No matter what is happening in your life right now whether it is good or bad it is as it is meant to be.” (or something to that effect). That has become my mantra. Your voice saying that goes through my head through all the hard times and it gives me courage and keeps me grounded. I’m a warm empath and am quite hard on myself. Your words stop the critical voice inside my head. I can’t tell you how much your videos and the all kindness and empathy you radiate mean to me. Thank you again. From Utah USA. 🌷

Jennuzka Yep, I had to give up on watching TingTing's videos because of how she "taps." Sounds like horses galloping, too rhythmic and fast. Emma and Maria do it melodically, sounding like rain drops or wind chimes, which is relaxing. Drumming nails just remind me of being irritated or bored, too. Should have known to stick with the Queens.
you can not go wrong with them. They really are the only ones who make tapping relaxing and the tingles are insane. I get frustrated when the tapping is rhytmic and harsh, like you said, it is not that relaxing. Goodnight moon is quite alright at tapping too, but nowhere near Emma and Maria. Her props and stories are best of the best though!
I just found Emma more recently (I’m watching this in 2020), but I still cannot understand how she doesn’t have a million subscribers yet?!? This is why I hope Emma and Maria never change how they do things, or try to follow the low-attention-span trend. Does anyone else here have visual triggers? I love ASMR to help me sleep, but my main triggers come from visual which means i cant just lay down & close my eyes cause i miss all the best bits!
I get tingles from both. But I find that I get the most when I'm watching. Sometimes I can make them come out in everyday life in certain situations like a super power almost. Lol it's awesome.
Visual triggers work best for me. Often the slower, the better hand movements and slow mic brushing. That's why I live Emma (& Maria). I've seen previews in my YT feed of others and they all seem like they are in some big rush. Emma (& Maria/Gentle Whispers) take their time and make an effort for their viewers/fans.
Your talking and unwrapping is so peaceful and it’s so perfect cuz it’s also lightly raining outside where I live so it’s like I’m getting double ASMR -your tapping at one point synchronized with the rain that I heard from my window
Maria Gentle Whispering is the only ASMRtist that has ever really worked for me and given me tingles... I've only recently discovered Emma Whispers Red and I think shes great too 😊

I’m in London on holiday and haven’t quite gotten over my jet lag. After waking up very early to go to the flower market, my body just rebelled - no blood pressure, horrible migraine and body pain, and a terrible sore throat and stuffy head. It’s completely knocked the wind out of my sails and made it hard to sleep in my hotel room but as silly as this sounds, this video made me feel a little better. Thank you Emma for a little relief from a frustrating situation.

I have just seen you on BBC news talking about ASMR - well done on raising its profile and benefits! Just a little concerned that they emphasised its use by people with mental health problems when it is therapeutic for so many to de-stress. I do hope this does not give it a negative spin and make less informed people think it then gives you a "label". Keep up your lovely work!

Crinkles are definitely my favorite trigger right now and these are absolutely delicious. I’m not sure why but I can only watch women’s asmr videos. Even if I’m listening to guided meditation to relax ( other guided meditations I can listen to men ), I only want to listen to women. Maybe because they seem much more gentle and caring to me. 🤔
Tracy That's perfectly understandable. A male voice may not be reassuring or relaxing to you for whatever reason or you might just be more drawn to the softer cadacences that some female voices tend to have. Its purely psychological, but that is completely okay. Enjoy the community.
Yeah for me I just cannot listen to men whisper. It does the opposite, it makes me really anxious 😥 I feel bad because I know there's so many amazing asmrtists out there that are men, but I just can't listen to them if they speak in the videos at all.

Two of my dogs like ASMR as well and become calm. Pets like the soothing voice I think but my labrador seems more focused on the hand movements.

I’m in London on holiday and haven’t quite gotten over my jet lag. After waking up very early to go to the flower market, my body just rebelled - no blood pressure, horrible migraine and body pain, and a terrible sore throat and stuffy head. It’s completely knocked the wind out of my sails and made it hard to sleep in my hotel room but as silly as this sounds, this video made me feel a little better. Thank you Emma for a little relief from a frustrating situation.
Dammit, ive just run a nice hot bubble bath, i’ll have to watch this afterwards otherwise i’ll fall asleep in the tub & wake up like a shrivelled ol’ prune

I have just seen you on BBC news talking about ASMR - well done on raising its profile and benefits! Just a little concerned that they emphasised its use by people with mental health problems when it is therapeutic for so many to de-stress. I do hope this does not give it a negative spin and make less informed people think it then gives you a "label". Keep up your lovely work!
This is one I often find myself coming back to..... the whispers, the very slow and deliberate hand movements that cause tingly crinkles, the sound of the fingers across the cardboard packaging. Crinkles are definitely my favorite trigger right now and these are absolutely delicious. Now, I thought your soy flakes bag made the most divine crinkles I'd ever heard, but after hearing that first tea... man. The bag of soy flakes has some serious competition! I’m not sure why but I can only watch women’s asmr videos. Even if I’m listening to guided meditation to relax ( other guided meditations I can listen to men ), I only want to listen to women. Maybe because they seem much more gentle and caring to me. 🤔
Tracy That's perfectly understandable. A male voice may not be reassuring or relaxing to you for whatever reason or you might just be more drawn to the softer cadacences that some female voices tend to have. Its purely psychological, but that is completely okay. Enjoy the community.
Yeah for me I just cannot listen to men whisper. It does the opposite, it makes me really anxious 😥 I feel bad because I know there's so many amazing asmrtists out there that are men, but I just can't listen to them if they speak in the videos at all.
MassageASMR is just about the only guy I can listen to.
I have same issue though the French guy with the gloves does some nice non verbal ones
