the AP won because of Bennahmias' leaving I felt...but regarding the Raymond Weil I was glad it won. It is stunning and what other brand maximizes its offering for a low cost dress watch! they usually put their efforts into sportswatches/everyday watches and the dress watches seem like an afterthought (and I love those hands!)

Rikki of Scottish Watches gently barged me out of looking in a watch shop window in The Burlington Arcade in London in October 2023, whilst I was there celebrating a year since I survived 33,000v followed by 66,000v for circa 4-5 minutes, followed by a coma for a month, loss of limb, potentially saved by my 2004 Rolex Submariner (non-date) and he didn’t apologise or even acknowledge that I was there; Simply no consideration whilst he used a handheld filming device so, what a guy… I even half an hour ago commented on something else politely, opening the door for him to apologise, but the amazing guy that he is, not, he didn’t adore that either… Wow! Just wow…
