Chatty chatty chatz today for a sketchbook tour. Sound quality improves for the actual sketchbook part just so ya know. Fun fact, the plants are not only there to add chill vibes but also so I didn't go out of the frame. Also I always spell sketchbook as one word but is it supposed to be two?? we may never know (I could easily look this up but i'm lazy)

What I notice is that when artists say they don't like an older drawing, it's actually really good because that means you've seen improvement. So cringing at past stuff is good...at least that's what I tell myself...Your sketchbook is beautiful FYI!

How does your sketchbook look so pristine?! My sketchbook tour was just full of failed ideas!!
I actually have another (semi secret lol) sketchbook that I use for extremely rough sketches and most of them are scribbly awful messes!

I have a practice book for my sketch book it’s pretty stupid and stuff but like my friends come over and look and say how they love the color placement but have no clue that I did and it in another book. So if I do an actual piece on canvas or paper for sale or portfolio no one knows I have pre done it in about 3-4 other books 😂😂😂
They mostly show their pages or sketchbooks that succeed or use a sketchbook where fails are not allowed because they get shown to the people :/

I think it should be called a masterpiece and not a sketchbook bc those aren’t sketches those are gorgeous works of art 😭👏🏻

Keep in mind everyone your sketchbook doesn’t always have to contain beautiful things. What most artists don’t tell you when they do a sketchbook tour or something is that they might have a special sketchbook just for rough sketches or just one full of notes that they took while drawing something that they liked the look of I notice that a lot of you stress on trying to make everything in your sketchbook look beautiful but by doing that you’ll focus on more of perfecting one thing while the rest looks like you did it in 10 seconds you’ll take so long to make progress if you continue to do this don’t stress it and just love it because you created it💖
I actually liked your silent sketchbook flip throughs. I thought it was different than what most do.

Sometimes you see sketchbooks on RUclips that are too flawless with all perfectly finished pieces. I enjoy that yours is a good mix between spontaneous sketches and beautiful finished pieces.

i think one of the best things about watching sketchbook tours is seeing how different artists think one piece isnt up to par but in my eyes im like woooooow that's so good! makes me think about how i see my art vs how others see it.

you are the first person i see that leaves some pages white before like 'start' the sketchbook. I do that too and always thought i was the only person who did this :D
When ppl ask me why i leave them white i say that if i mess up the first page the first impression of the book is crap, so if there are some pages before the crap i can still put something nice there ^^
