Philippines Road Trip: Tagaytay to Cavinti (A Rainy Start) 🇵🇭

- After an amazing, yet somewhat rainy, start to our road trip outside of Manila, the Philippines - we arrived in Tagaytay. Our first day consisted of amazing views and probably the most confusing dessert we’ve ever eaten (but also fantastically delicious!). Since we spent way too much time at the fancy restaurant (who can blame us, did you SEE the place?), we finally headed off to see some sights today, only to arrive INSIDE a rain cloud. Not the views we were expecting… but we keep our spirits high as we drive onwards to the glamping capital of the Philippines! This is not the Philippines we were sold, where is the sun? 🌞

#Tagaytay #Cavinti #ThePhilippines
It might be raining but that's not going to stop us exploring the rest of the Philippines - thank you for watching and subscribing ❤
Jan is when usually the monsoon season ends. I hope you guys can stay longer, Philippines is at its best during Summer!
Go back to manila and celebrate new year with my friends and family you and your girlfriend are welcome here in our place we have a friend police and vlogger hehehe
Cavite is pronounce as KAA - VEE - TEE and Tagaytay is - THA - GUY -- THAI
Hehe oops!! Thank you 🤗
@@masterchiefy830 Theyy were referring to Cavinti town, Laguna province. The glamping capital of PH. Not Cavite province.
It seems nothing can dampen this lady's spirit or wipe that radiant smile off her beautiful face.... such a positive human being.
Thank you 💕💕💕💕
8:45 saying "po" at the end of your sentences, and "opo" to respond, is a polite thing to say and to express respect to the elderly that is taught by Filipino parents to their kids.
It Is basically like sir an maam in the Filipino way.
And nowadays not only to elderly but also to strangers no matter the age is so long as we want to show a sign of respect we use "po" and "opo". When teaching especially when talking to kids and we hear them talking to us without using "po, opo" then we reply to them with "po" to remind them the importance of it.
The world could learn a lot from Adriana’s positive outlook. Resilience is one of the common traits of the Filipino ppl. You’ll do just fine there.
Thank you so much 🥰🤗
This couple is a legit travel vlogger..honest and open minded...were some others faking there review to visit my country.. And make views or simphaty to their channel...take care guys! And enjoy!!
Thank you 💕 Just trying to enjoy the time here doing things we want to do :)
Aw, I love how you guys just roll with it and keep smiling. So cute. You have the best attitude, and I was smiling along with you. And yes, if you want to instantly sound more like a native and polite, you just add "po" to every sentence. You can say "thank you po," "yes po," "where is it po..." :) I do hope you get plenty of sunshine and nice clear views in Boracay!!
Thank you so so much 😍❤️
There's very famous and talented Japanese Rock star is very well known for doing exactly this, her name in Miku Kobato (affectionately The Little Pigeon) Po!
@@hammerhiem75 a fellow maidiac! I wish they'd tour in 🇵🇭
Saying "Po" at the end of a statement is a gesture of respect. If you want to see sunshine and clear views, check the weather forecast and plan to visit during good weather. It surely saves you time and effort and minimize disappointments. Anyways, enjoy every moment even if not all places are not that enjoyable.
I love how positive you are and that's how it should be. There are things beyond our control but what we can do is how we see things and embrace the experience
Thank you so so much 😍❤️
I agree. You are both so sweet.
Take care and always do what you want
Just watching this now. I love the open minded approach you had in this video. I used to travel a lot around the country and it sometimes is hit and miss with the weather especially after the months of July to December. I was once stranded on an island off South of the country because of an incoming storm. I remember filming a goodbye video just in case I didn't make it. The wind was howling and I waited for my hut to be blown away. The resort manager didn't allow me to leave the island. The coast guard suspended all sea travel between the mainland and the island. Instead she gave me free stay, food, unlimited karaoke and free "lambanog" with the local fishermen while I was there. haha!
Oh wow that sounds like a wild ride!!! 🥲🥹 what a story!!
Well it's the Philippines so there's rain. Atleast it's not snow storm. Plus the rain there is warm not freezing cold.
She is always so happy and positive!
Wish I have someone like her.
🤗😍
She is so positive . What a nice lady
I love your positive mindset, always hoping for some rays of the sun to peek through those dreary gray clouds. Keep your spirits up, the sun will shine and it be as bright as your personality 😉🇵🇭
Hehehe Thank you 🥰🥰
Youre patience is above level…😮 you can easily captures viewers And supporters And followers by your positive attitude guys.. take care 😊more power..
Thank you very much ❤️

Thank you 😁😁😁
Your positivity is really contagious. Your video brightens my day. Thank you..

Po and opo is a sign of respect and polite words at the end of our sentence.
It’s very lovely! 🤗
Been following your blog for a month now, my family (5 members) are planning to visit Philippines and going to Cebu/Bohol/ Boracay then back to Manila in March. We just love your blogs and they’re very nice, funny and informative. So thank you. Cheers!
It is normal in the Philippines to call someone you don't know sir or mam. It was a sign of being respectful to someone you just met and if they get along that's the time we can change it into more friendly and more dearly way of calling a person or just by their names if the other person allowed to be called by their 1st name.. but in the Philippines we all have this nicknames so I think so should start now to think of a Pinoy nickname for the both of you.. 😊😊
It’s so lovely!! 🤗
Agree! ✅✅
Yup, nicknames are huge. I’m half Filipina living in the U.S. and my mom has nicknamed me and my brother as “Bing” and “Bong”. Sometimes she calls me Bing Bing, lol, because many names/words have to be doubled up. 😂
“Po” is a sign of respect. People add it at the end of sentence to show their respect. Happy new year, keep the adventures going, stay safe and keep positive.
That’s so lovely! Thank you 🤗🤗
Love how you guys make the Philippines look like it has no traffic 🤣
Hahaha there wasn’t much traffic!!
@@2Passports1Dream Wow, awesome!
In our are of Bohol traffic is light except in the town, but I can see it building up in volume

rain rain go away! here's hoping for warm sunny weather and blue skies for the rest of your trip🌞thank you for the positive vibes despite the sub-optimal weather
You guys go careful out there okay. If they offer you something you don't like, it's okay to say NO. Be careful who you hangout with. Don't get fooled with a smile. And don't follow any strangers. My country has Flaws too. My people will always be kind to you but sometimes some people do it in exchange for something, and something can be anything so it's quite scary. Be careful, welcome and enjoy your stay...
Thank you for the heads up 🤗
Your Air BNB is so near Nasugbu. A lot of beaches. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines. Take care and stay safe!
Awwwww, Adrianna's positivity is just on the next Level, she's so sweet. There's nothing would go wrong if Adrianna was on your side. She's so bubbly 😅
Anyway, keep safe along your way guys. Stay full and Hydrated 😚💗
Hehehe Thank you so much 🥰❤️ hahaha we DO need to drink more water 😂

Lovely to follow you on your road trip and despite the crappy weather you succeeded in making it a very positive experience. Bravo! I'll take the winter rains over the cold snow. On the sunny days it's paradise. The sound of heavy rains feels nostalgic after living in SE Asia.

I just came back from the PI. Watching your videos makes me home sick. When we arrived to our family compound, everyone was saying how cold it is for this time of the year. We all said we brought the San Diego cold with us for the trip. When we left Manila, it was raining and when we got home, it was pouring. I guess we ended up bringing the Philippine rain back with us. Glad you’re enjoying the visit to the PI.

Hello from California! "Po" is a sign of respect to adults. The first time I've seen your channel is when you just arrived in the Philippines. Perfect timing. Love your content so I'm subbing. My family is from Batangas City a little south east of Tagaytay. I hope you're both enjoying your time in the country. There's a handful of youtubers/vloggers that just happened to arrive in the Philippines around the same time you did. They're stuck with BGC. I'm happy you're both exploring more than just the city.❤️
It’s so lovely - we wish we had something like that in English hehe! 🤗

Tagaytay is part of cavite province also known for it's cold weather, December there always has colder temperature and windy. You will oversee the taal volcano and lake. There is also a zoo and the mushroom restaurant serve mushroom burger. Ask the local about the flower gardens too. Mahogany known for beef called bulalo soup, eat you will enjoy the hot soup.
Perhaps along the way you guys need to check out Zambales region Home of Mount Pinatubo Crater Lake. To get there is a 4x4 offroading excursion and the rest is the hike to the crated lake. And also Mapanuepe lake is created when Mount Pinatubo Erupted in the 90's. There used to be a town there but its now at the bottom of a lake.
Just do it....rain or shine...enjoy what Philippines will offer you...
Loving this channel, going thru roads less travelled by vloggers. Those were quick trips to Tagaytay, and Cavinti, Laguna however. Hope you still had a great time in spite the weather.

You are correct, "po" and "opo" is an expression usually of politeness(can be used sarcastically) which means an affirmation or "okay/yes" from Tagalog-speaking regions(Metro Manila in general and Region IV- CaLaBaRZon and MiMaRoPa). Other regions do not usually use it.
