  • The FMH-630 Horizontal Machining Center is manufactured using the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and is one of the most versatile members of FEELER's outstanding line of CNC Horizontal Machining Centers. The FMH-630 has been designed to meet the demanding requirements found in today metal working market.
    Belt Driven 6,000 rpm Main Spindle:
    The FMH 630 utilizes a precision ground 6,000 rpm, 50 taper 2 Belt driven Spindle, which utilizes a grease lubrication system to maintain and extend the spindle bearing performance throughout the entire RPM range.
    BIG PLUS SPINDLE:
    This Big Plus spindle system (BCV #50) provides dual contact between the spindle face and the flange face of the tool holder. This increases the rigidity and accuracy of the cutting tool.
    APC & Pallet:
    FMH-630 provides a rotary shuttle APC as standard. The loading station pallet can be rotated and locked in 90 degree increments for convenient loading/unloading for workpieces. 1 degree index table is applied with high precision curvic coupling for accurate indexing.
    Specially Designed Column:
    The FMH-630 has been designed with the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and employees the use of a double wall structure for the column. This design prevents heat transformation, and it turn provides excellent cutting performance and accuracy.
    Roller Guideways on all Axes for Ultra-Speed and Rigidity:
    All Guideways are of Linear Motion Technology incorporated Roller Guideways, which are “per-loaded” to increase rigidity, while maintaining 24 meters per minutes (945 inches per minute) of rapid positioning and cutting feed rates.
    Pre-tensioned & Double Anchored Ball Screw:
    All axes are driven by large diameter, high precision double-nut ball screws, supported at each end by four high precision angular thrust bearings. The double, pretension design of the ball nut provides outstanding positioning and repeatability with virtually no thermal growth. All ball screws are connected directly to the servo drive motors without gears or belts, to eliminate backlash.
    Air Cleaning System:
    During the pallet change cycle, a strong air blast is coming out from the taper cone, and this helps to remove chips and provides a clean surface on the locating area. This ensures high accuracy of pallet positioning and guarantees optimum rigidity.
    Tool Magazine:
    The tool magazine holds 40 tools as standard and up to 60/ 90/ 120 tool as an option. Servo control, fixed address tool selection method and a separate magazine control panel enhance user convenience.
    Rigid Table:
    Accurate pallet positioning is achieved by the use of 4 precision ground tapered cones. The table is hydraulically clamped in position by a large diameter curvic coupling, allowing for increased machining capabilities.
