Mongolian here, here's a bit of a backstory about Mongolian Counter-Strike. As a former soviet country, we've had a lot of Russian influence when it comes to multimedia. That's likely how we got introduced to Quake 3 Arena and Counter-Strike but not Half-Life. Same goes for DotA, we didn't care about Warcraft 3 at the time. CSS was basically non-existent, even though we had computers that can comfortably run it. Internet cafes quickly turned into places where LAN parties are held, and for dirt cheap, too. It got so widespread that the media started talking about its impact and addiction and stuff, way after most other countries. We did have some menaces fragging out in 1.6, albeit never forming an actual team, we didn't know nothing about making this into an actual sport back then. maaRaa was one of those monsters of 1.6, although I'm too young to remember most of the other ones. CS:GO rolls around, and we're just getting introduced to the concept of e-sports, or even just Steam and buying games online in general. The MongolZ was formed, maaRaa was a player in it. He eventually coached it and several other teams. It's a small world out here, most of the former roster like dobu, kabal and hasteka still play in teams like ATOX, IHC and Chinggis Warriors and The Huns, although ANNHILATION went inactive recently. IHC was even the premier Mongolian roster right before the current MongolZ came to be. I think they've hit gold with this roster, Mongolian CS has never felt THIS good to watch. We've had some highlights of Mongolian CS here and there before like the Zilkenberg ace or ANNHILATION flick towards boiler on Inferno, but now, they're a serious threat cooking top teams that every team does homeworks on, this is the most proud we've ever been to have been a Mongolian CS fan.
well speaking of cs 1.6, we were very well aware of e-sport and cs 1.6 competition in europe or elsewhere, even some teams participated in the international events like world championship, alas, due to minimal exposure to international experience, our team in 1.6 didn't make anything worthwhile. Partly, the chances we had back in the days were a very limited like one to non existing but domestic competition were fierce as any international events, of course, not on that level, i meant, on intensity.
It’s genuinely amazing that a team outside of Europe can make it this far and it shows that other regions just needs to do more homework to kickstart their scene
LG 2016 vibes. My favorite part about this lineup is Mzinhos improvement. At Kato this year he had like a .77 and was so uncomfortable, I remember Ence won like 9 t rounds on mirage because mzinho couldn’t hold a site for a his life. It’s the opposite now, so cool too see.
My only question for mongolz that I need to have answered is if Mongolz are being pressured and have a bad start in the game, can they grind their way back into a game? Mongolz are shooting so hard that they rarely have to worry about being behind the 8ball and needing to stop the oppositions momentum. With the playoffs being in front 13K~ people, there will be pressure and their opponent won’t be easy (Mouz and Navi could make it out 3-2 and be a test for the Mongolians).
What a lot of asian teams lack that the mongolz do have is commitment, they have always continuously bootcamped in europe and competed against european teams even when they were losing constantly in the beginning.
@@olsaaanactually he has never played sc go seriously before the acc he uses now. Maybe sometimes plays with his friends and stuff. Cuz he had been trying to become a pro dota 2 player before going to cs

Goy bichijee ho 👍
Mzinho's development is genuinely baffling, this 17 year old chap went from BBL interz to b1t in 10 months. This lad is a KILLER.
"BBL interz" is criminal lmao

no player reminds me of ence sergej more than mzinho
Agree from Faceit lvl1 to Faceit lvl10+ in just months
16 year old btw, 😂

The excuses kinda dry up...

Absolutely brilliant video, right in time for my MongolZ are amazing article.
Cheers, that should be a great read too
Senzu is bullying top tier players. Insane. And 910 is holding his own against demon awpers
Eternal Fire now literally like: "SO COLD HERE!🥶" 🤣🤣
910 was a pretty safe bet within the Mongolian sfene
Senzu was hyped a lot, that was notice refl
didn't make a horde reference, clearly not a mongolz video lol
I pred Mongolz 3-0 in both stages. they have not let me down
Mongolz reminds me of old heroic. A lot of people all on board with the same ideas

Techo was saying theyre getting comfortable to playing front of the croud not crumble by the pressure which is why they are 3 0

Big up the Mongolz
Swear 910 has like 4k hours or something ridiculous
I've heard something similar, pretty insane
No he was joking. He has multiple accounts

@@KingT_CS2 god gifted at the game.
@ that’s really impressive
Expected from my 3-0 pickem goats! (alongside Vitality)
I didn't believe in the 3-0, had them going 3-1/3-2
I was very high on Mongolz but still couldnt do 3-0. Good pick!
balls deep my dude, you are the true baller, salute
If Mongolz keep improving like they are and they get knocked out in the playoffs I could see Mongolz having a real chance at winning Austin next year
At this rate, it's entirely possible
