Blaney was in deep trying to go under Chase but Menard forced himself in there making it three wide packing all the air on Blaney's left rear. You get a low-downforce package with front-end damage and suddenly no air under the left rear? No one in the field could have saved that car.

At 5:26 you see it, no way anyone that's out of gas should be able to hold off someone on full power for a full lap. Heck, if Daniel Suarez (out of gas) couldn't even hold off Kyle Busch (who was down a tire) at Fontana for a full straightaway, then there's no way Carl Edwards should have lost this race. Carl is still the fuel mileage king and had more than anyone else at the finish. It's just really sad that he didn't get the results in this race to show for it.

Its something that a ton of drivers are missing now. He gets racing and understands when wrecks are just a product of racing hard. I might even go as far to say he's my favorite over most of these silver spoon fed drivers we see now, they get all hissy if you move them up the track. But Brad dont care, hes gonna drive a stock car the way a stock car is meant to be and he does one heck of a job at it.
SplishSplashThrees I’m a huge BK fan. I’m pretty much a Penske and Bubba guys. Blaney and Bubba are the best personalities in the sport and Brad drives in a way i love. I still laugh at people that hate on him because of the Gordon incident. Was it a mistake? Probably. But it was one mistake, move on. Even Gordon said later on that he regrets how he reacted and he realizes it wasn’t on purpose, he saw a lane and went for it.
