With Roxy bein' so two sided with Gregory vs. Cassie, She must've known Gregory was either up to something or bad news... Makin' me think that Gregory has more to him than what was thought
Its always great when you can see what the animatronics were actually like, y'know, before being corrupted and stuff. For example, Roxy is competitive and has anger issues, but we see that the original version of her was fiercely protective and that despite her competitiveness, she would occasionally let others win in order to make them feel better. All the animatronics were designed to interact with kids, after all, and so they all had aspects that made kids love them. Cassie felt bad because she was all alone during her birthday, so Roxy let her win not once but TWICE because 1. She needed the boost, and 2. It was her special day. Roxy was protective of Cassie because at the end of the day, the animatronics functioned as security bots and were hardwired to protect children at all cost. That's why Sun (and subsequently, Eclipse) was quick to remove Cassie from the daycare. It was dangerous there and animatronics were programmed to protect kids from harm. I wish we could see more of whaz they were really like. I wanna see Chica and how she interacts with kids, as well as Monty at his golf course.
It would also be cool to see Glamrock Bonnie be brought back to life somehow. He definitely wouldn't be happy to see Monty and I want to see more of his bromance with Freddy.
Roxy is my favorite character of the Fnaf Security Breach series. I feel like she is similar to Glamrock Freddy, having her own good side. In her defense, she did get dismantled by Gregory. Her actions to protect Cassie probably show she has a good side. Hoping for more dlc content related to her.
I am so happy that Roxy sort of took Freddy's role as Cassie's protector. Sure Cassie did not hide inside Roxy to escape the other animatronics, But at the same time, Roxy showed us a I side of her we never thought she had. To me she always seemed different (as in had a much more defined personality compared to the other animatronics) but here she’s the only one who seems to retain most of her old personality, if not all of it. We can easily say that Monty and Chica don’t because they attack us even though they can actually see Cassie is not Gregory, while Roxy can’t see Cassie, but stops attacking the moment she realises she hasn’t got Gregory. I’m also curious if Steel Wool made Roxy good because she was most peoples favourite (besides Papa Freddy), or if they were setting up Roxy to be special from the very beginning.

Since certain individuals believe that Roxy is dead, or it's The Mimic speaking to Roxy at the end, I shall put my evidence to the fact that Roxy is in fact, alive. Starting off: When Roxy says "Cassie?" After the end credits you can tell that it's obviously Roxy and not the mimic. Why? Because when mimic mimics Gregory, even in the trailer you can tell that that ain't Gregory. I think it’s the real roxy too but the argument he doesn’t show any emotion is false. He repeatedly says he’s scared and that it’s so dark down there, he even sounds really scared.
2. Why would the mimic waste time mimicking Roxy when it could just straight up kill Cassie? Some people state that the mimic is trying to get Cassie to help it escape, but Cassie has already done that by deactivating the security program. Also, to me, the mimic doesn't seem any more than a mindless killing machine. Another thing being that the voiceline sounds like it's literally inside the elevator with Cassie, so if it were the mimic, it would just straight up kill Cassie if she were injured/knocked out.
3. Roxy is tough as hell. She takes a go-kart to the face, and takes a nasty fall afterwards, and still manages to push said go-kart off herself after being temporarily knocked out. She then jumps through several wooden doors and walks through fire. She navigates a destroyed Pizzaplex (While blind, I might add.). And before fighting the mimic, she got herself unstuck from a forklift she was pinned under literally 5 minutes before the fight. And I don't even think the mimic even damaged Roxy that much, just temporarily deactivated her, I think if Roxy were seriously damaged in any way we'd hear her screaming in pain. 1:06 FOXY.EXE vibes, well, it's not without a reason, FOXY.EXE in FNAF World: Halloween Edition from 4 years ago was the precursor of Help Wanted lore which leads to this.
Now I’m trying to figure out if making Roxy good was either fan service (in which case, consider me served) or giga brain set up, cause I (and many others) always thought Roxy was different to the other animatronics and was easily most peoples favourite for one reason or another (hecking furries/simps have made it impossible to say she’s your favourite purely because she’s got a cool design and think wolves are cool), so did Steel Wool set Roxy up to be special, or they cashing in on most people liking her?
It does help she is, by far, the most popular of the new animatronics for a variety of reasons, one of which being she actually has a personality even in the base game. The 'low self-esteem person putting on a front of being a winner in order to help maintain their sanity' (considering Roxy was programmed to think she's always a winner...whilst also programmed to always lose to the kids really did a number on her mental health), especially because she's 'replacing' the fan favorite Foxy and thus also suffering from living in the shadow of a beloved character (though Foxy now seems to be a legacy 'merchandise' brand, mostly used in movies, TV shows and rides), can strike a nerve with people if you the 'unsuccessful sibling/child' who is constantly compared to your more successful sibling/parent and constantly living in their shadow. Chica and Monty are fairly flat in the base game with only hints on Monty's personality through collectibles and we spend the most time with Freddy as our pal so of course he has the most character development. So Roxy gave Steel Wool a lot to work with, Chica and Monty became even more flat and one note, they're not characters, they're stage hazards.
@@luketfer yeah, the psychology of Roxy’s mentality is extremely obvious to people who recognise what her actions are symptomatic of. I immediately figured to myself that she was not confident in herself and was using a facade of being overly confident as a coverup. Being programmed to have you’re whole schtick be winning but also be programmed to lose would not be healthy. If you believe in the theory that Afton’s virus also amplified the negative aspects of the animatronics personalities, Roxy would’ve been a walking wreck psychologically speaking. Hence why she became my favourite of the 4. Like many others, I just wanted to help her and make her feel ok. In terms of why she’s the only one with a personality, I’m gonna assume Chica and Monty had more fleshed out personalities and roles until all the story cuts and rewrites happened leading to large chunks of gameplay and lore relating to them getting scrapped. In universe reasons would suggest that Monty was just a dick from the start, and Chica is being more heavily affected by the virus (twitch erratic movements, unfocused eyes, uncoordinated walking pattern). If it’s not any of that though I ask again, why is Roxy special? I need the LORE
@@featdirty1127 I think BECAUSE of that personality conflct it's why she's the main one to retain a personality. The virus in the base game brings out 'the worst' in the Animatronics as you said, Monty is Anger, Chica is hunger but Roxy, she has self doubt and that is a much more complex emotion. Roxy and Freddy are both more 'human' than the other two. Once the virus is dealt with and the Pizza Plex abandoned, the animatronics are left to stew in what remains of their personalities. Monty becomes completely feral, Chica is rotting away and covered in garbage/mould due to constantly eating trash but Roxy is left to stew in her self doubt. It's why despite being blind she's actually in the best shape of the animatronics because despite losing a lot of her outer shell, her endo is kept relatively clean (unlike the other two, not to mention we find her in the beauty salon), she's clearly trying to take care of herself as best she can. Not only that but she now has a target for a new, just as human emotion, vengeance. What Gregory did was exceednigly fucked up when you boil it down and I don't begrudge Roxy for wanting to get her claws on Gregory and get her eyes back. It also doesn't help that evidence suggests that there is a cut 4th ending, we can repair Chica's voicebox but she's the only one we can. It looks like at some point during development a 'repair them' ending was planned but that little moment is all we have left of it.
@@luketfer I completely agree with you. I came to many similar conclusions after a while (the virus being a more permanently damaging aspect is an interesting theory I didn’t think about). Because her personality traits that were amplified were much more advanced than ‘hunger’ or ‘anger’ she seems to have retained her intelligence to the point where she was able to develop new emotions likely not part of her original personality chip, that being vengeance. And it’s not just the virus affecting her to think like that because she would’ve probably just killed Cassie in an instant instead of yelling about her eyes. Plus during that segment the voice we distract her with is Greogorys, most likely because learning that she was chasing someone different would’ve caused her to reset. She clearly has it out for Gregory, and I’m with you; if someone tore out my eyes I’d wanna go much further than that once I get my hands on them as well, so no judgment from me (plus she’s my favourite so, bias I guess) Something I’d like to add to about how Roxy maintains herself, not only is her endo mostly clean, parts look like they’ve been completely replaced or added, particularly around the face. The mask like appearance she has in Ruin was not part of her endo originally, and the jaw she has now is too small to have been her original one. Her ears are also brand new as her original ones were damaged after the crash (and not just the casings, the way they were distorted would’ve left damage on the actual ears as well). It seems likely she was going out of her way to repair parts of herself in her endless hunt for Gregory, possibly even trying to give herself new eyes or attaching a new faceplate. Her right claws also still retain the green polish suggesting she still tries to paint them, though sadly for her, her left claws are broken at the ends. I’m honestly quite upset that they didn’t fully implement that ending. I thought it was really weird that you could get only Chica’s beak and was certain there was a 4th ending. You can even find Monty’s legs (not an item sadly) in the rafters area. It also would’ve been the perfect place to add all the unfinished mini game stuff, like the drivable cart. It would’ve been perfect if they hid the Monty Golf machine better and rewarded you with Monty’s legs if you get a good enough score or something, and added in a Roxy Racers machine that let you drive in a race against a bunch of Staff Bots or on a timer, and if you won/beat the record time you get Roxy’s eyes. Who knows though? Maybe Steel Wool will release a patch that adds it in, unlikely as it is
They should make ruin 2 where cassie survives and when she fell down and the mimic got to her, her faz wrench fell into the mimic’s power box which shut him down and cassie goes through a chain of events to escape,
Hmm seems too convenient that the animatronics except Freddy are hostile to Gregory (barring what he did to them ) Is there a chess board we aren’t seeing. Sure glitch trap is a player but who is the other.
There is one problem - the connection between the heroines is non-working. We'll find out at the very end, without any eyeliner. And if you remember that Cassie turned off the wolf, then she could not come to life in any way to cover her back from William (who was turned into an Imitator because people were against Afton's next return - it breaks logic so much and got boring in itself). This is an undisguised manipulation on the part of Scott. He also designed the hero in such a way as to resemble Roxy. Was it really so difficult to think through this turn in advance? I will not take away from people a potential source of creativity, which is still heads and shoulders higher than the current state of FNaF, but keep in mind, at this rate, FNaF will not live long.
@@SupergirlJLM, I sincerely thank you for the clarification. But unfortunately, this does not negate the fact that the wolf was obliged to forget the girl. It is unpleasant to realize that these characters are being used for the sake of a fanservice, and not trying to really develop. Chica is still a meme with no pretensions to seriousness. Nobody knew what to do with Monty at all. He was given the role of a rat and thrown out when he was no longer needed.

Maybe Steel Wool will release a patch that adds it in, unlikely as it is
So few scenes still are a lot
Can the next game have you play as Roxy in a Bioshock 2 style game plz
Imagine freddy and Gregory sees this
They would have the same thing they have.
They should make ruin 2 where cassie survives and when she fell down and the mimic got to her, her faz wrench fell into the mimic’s power box which shut him down and cassie goes through a chain of events to escape,
Freddy is best dad to Gregory and Roxy is best mom to Cassie.
🐻👦🏻🐺👧🏽❤
Roxy 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Wow
I love roxy…. This DLC was very sad😭😭😭😭
We were right
Hmm seems too convenient that the animatronics except Freddy are hostile to Gregory (barring what he did to them )
Is there a chess board we aren’t seeing. Sure glitch trap is a player but who is the other.
The screenshots 💀💀💀
Cassie never shut her down. Cassie rebooted her
@@SupergirlJLM, I sincerely thank you for the clarification.
