I Love this content! my journey actually started with longevity and nutrition and I now came to your channel to add workout to it… it just shows all goes hand in hand and a holistic approach is key!
I gave up alcohol when I turned 50 and it was partially due to a video of yours I watched. I knew I needed to think more about my health when I turned 50 and that was the icing on the cake. Longevity has been my main focus since then. I’m so glad to see you building that in your videos. Thank you, Melissa.
Definitely a good topic to address, Melissa. I’m really interested in the affects that Ultra processed foods have on our bodies. As our cells need building materials to renew and grow, we need to make sure we supply our bodies with these via food. It’s like building a house with substandard, low quality materials. You’ll end up with a shoddy house that will likely give out before it’s time.
You look Fantastic and love this approach to longevity ❤ I am 53 and most of the time I kept myself very fit and with long construction projects and stress I am feeling very tired all the time. I still keep up intermittent fasting at times and that helps with weight but definitely have more squishy body now. I miss my times for workouts❤❤❤❤❤ Most of the habits I got rid off like drinking or sugar intake.
I did try intermittent fasting and my body did not respond to it. Now that I am almost 50 I find that a high protein diet does help and eating fruits and veggies. The longevity aspect is definitely something I would be interested in learning more about.
Intermittent Fasting has benefits you may not see or feel like: producing HG Human Growth Hormones which almost stops at age 30+. It preserves protein, strengthens bone density, helps build muscle. Just an FYI😊. I know we all need to do what best for us as individuals.
Thank you Melissa for the thorough explanation on longevity. At 52, this is important to me and I need to implement these rules more strictly into my life.
FOR REAL!!! I wish Melissa was my best friend, and we lived near by! She'd whip me in shape for my first bikini contest! I'm hoping to do my first bikini contest in spring 2025.
I swim 1.5 hours 5 times a week, but haven’t been able to lose weight. You told me that nutrition was key. I’ve been measuring and recording everything. I’ve been trying to meet the protein grams. It’s working! I’m down 15lbs. 😲🫢😊
Longevity topic is very important, fat loss will come along with the same principles. Thanks for sharing & plesse continue making content on this topic 🤗
Thanks for the nod towards Peter Attia - especially with regard to emotional well-being. I have ordered his book and may yet join you on one of your inspiring and encouraging courses. 💙
This is great Melissa! I have been learning about the Blue Zone and I live in Scottsdale, AZ, which is now becoming a new Blue Zone. Longevity is so interesting. I pray that I will always have my health, strength, muscles and lean body mass as long as I continue eating this vegetarian diet and working out for the rest of my life. It's truly amazing when we get results that make us feel better and look much better too! 😀
That’s wonderful to hear! The Blue Zones are such a fascinating topic, and it's great that you're embracing a lifestyle that supports longevity. Keep up the fantastic work with your vegetarian diet and workouts-your dedication is truly inspiring!
Yes! Been telling everyone and especially friends and ladies this for a long time about adding strength training which actually burns more fat/calories than doing cardio and having more muscle tone keeps fat at bay, win win 😊. All brilliant advice, just changing one aspect at a time and we can all reap the benefits in each area.
Hi Melissa. I enjoyed the content of this video. I am focusing on these things as well. Very informative but not overwhelming! Keep up the great content!
Just found your channel and your longevity vlog. Seems like great advice to me (66yo). You're doing a great job. Thanks! Have subscribed and also looking more closely at my lifestyle.
Yes, like you said not just living longer , also feeling good, being active, growing some veggies, sprouts, micro greens, dancing, smelling the roses, proper breath WHILE lifting SO important to cover. Love Pilates!! I feel it helps lengthen the mussel. Helps with posture and s straight and steady gate. ✌♥️
I am a 45 years old man. I respect your message. I am always trying to find the secret to the fountain of youth. I am trying to look like i am in my 20s or 30s. I used to gamble, smoke, and drink alcohol. I quite all 3. I live a healthy lifestyle. I eat healthy. I jog 2 times a day. I hope that whats keep me looking younger. And you look good and youthful by the way
I'm glad you are humble inspite of having a great body. You don't brag about how young you look. We can see for ourselves. I hate when gurus toot their own horn.
Thank you so very much! I so wished I could start on your program but have to wait until I have done my foot surgery...will look through your free program and see if I can start doing something, I do get inspired from you, and hope I will be able to get back into training, I am 51 and health really is everything.
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you're feeling inspired. While you wait for your surgery, you might find some helpful tips and workouts in our free program. Wishing you a smooth recovery and looking forward to having you join us once you're ready!
I definitely like this content and I also think it"s a very important perspective on what we women can do to improve our quality of life beyond 60, 70....and that we CAN do it. So please continue...😊
I didn't believe in intermittent fasting, but for me I do way better. Because if I eat 3 meals a day I feel sluglish and sleey.not so when I fast, I have more energy, I feel way better.even my mood is better. I'm 59 I workout and I eat pretty healthy.I drink vitamins and stay active... Takes lot of work but is worth it.. Because I'm worth the effort.. These topics are great tks😍😘
I'm in perimenopause.. and I think having massive water retention. Anyone else? I lift weights 4 days weekly and do hitt. Eat so many fruits and veggies. So annoying.
Water retention during perimenopause is quite common due to hormonal changes. Even with a healthy diet and regular exercise, you might still experience it. Staying hydrated, reducing sodium intake, and incorporating foods with natural diuretic properties can help.
I really enjoyed this video. I'm at the early stages of this. I might well sign up for one of your courses. What I don't find addressed much is nutrition, strength training and cholesterol. I am thinking can I do this on a low saturated diet

I alternate between strength, Pilates and glider workouts because I want to look really good naked.😎…I started Intermittent Fasting back in 2018 because of digestive issues and it’s was a god send. I also added probiotics, prebiotics & post biotic. I supplement with 5 grams of Creatine & BCAA’s because I eat whole food plant base…..my vice is drinking from time to time..😂😂❤
Great video! I am now 60 and would love to know the best proteins to add to my diet. I really need to get back to the gym. I am so tired all the time. Need help!
Love your videos, I’m a big fan. Would love if the acoustics on the video could not have so much of an echo. It would be more pleasant to listen to. Love your content. Thx
For brain fog during menopause, try focusing on a balanced diet, regular exercise, staying hydrated, and managing stress. Quality sleep and mental stimulation can also help. If you’re considering supplements, check with your healthcare provider first.

I agree that one of the best things you can do is to stop smoking and drinking. I quit smoking and drinking, it wasn't easy, but is worth it.

Kind of funny, I can totally relate. I'm about to hit 52 so now I'm listening to stuff. In my 40s, I didn't think about it as much.
I eat high protein and intermittent fast. I eat enough calories and no refined and high processed foods. I’m lean and mostly muscle😊✨

Amazing figure. Lean.
Stop eating junk. Focus on your sleep. Muscle is the organ of longevity.
You can build muscle while drinking on the weekends. Plenty of people do
I would not recommend that!
you didn’t “reverse” your aging you just manage your weight by staying lean stop the bull crap
