My 2001 footage from my documentary @thebboyconnection of legendary @kwon.k138 teaching young bboys his style at @kinguprock dollar jam Brooklyn, New York 11/15/2001. Free screening’s coming soon in Berkeley and Oakland CA. Including where ever I get an invite to screen. I was always filming 16:9 widescreen with an anamorphic lens. That’s why this footage I filmed doesn’t look like other early 2000 videos. Also kwon was my mentor that taught me how to slow down and smooth out my moves. I added my existing style with his techniques he taught not just me how to smooth out moves with style but a mentor to so many who have crossed his paths. So grateful appreciated of Kwon.
