My one and only fave deck. I know Altergeists are considered slow but man when used right they're really devastating and satisfying to play. I wish they would release Ghost Gal's other Altergeist cards since they're already in the game itself.

"When used right, they can be devastating" → That's true, but unfortunately, Zuzu's decklist is not only bad, but it's extremely unoptimized. She's not even playing Linkuriboh (the best starter for the deck) nor Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden. In addition, Altergeist Emulatelf is not a good card to play and she's doing the Altergeist combos all wrong. Altergeist is by nature not an easy deck to play and I can definitely tell Zuzu isn't great at the deck given her bad decklist and her inability to pilot the deck correctly. It's fine though, practice makes perfect, but I personally can't stand people uploading decklists and having next to no experience playing the deck, thus giving their community false impressions on the deck's combos when the deck being showcased is not being piloted correctly. If you want to truly learn Altergeist, I've got plenty of decklists uploaded already along with play-by-play on how to pilot the deck at a top tier level.

No offense Zuzu, but I'm just going to come right out and say it, your Altergeist decklist is bad. I usually just lurk in your RUclips content, but as the number one resident Altergeist player in the Altergeist community, it would be a crime if I didn't comment on your Altergeist video and share my thoughts. I'm in no way trying to sound condescending, but when you upload a video on the deck I'm known for, you better be prepared to summon me here to the chat. Without further ado, here goes.
I'm just going to go ahead and give it to you straight, your Altergeist deck is extremely unoptimized and I'll be providing some pointers to help you improve on your pitfalls if you truly care that much to play Altergeists and not upload videos showcasing poorly-built Altergeist decklists. I don't know what rank you're playing in, but you'll get decimated playing this poorly built deck in Legend, let alone King of Games.
    1. Altergeist Meluseek → Why you're not playing x3 of her is questionable. Meluseek is your best starter and you want to see her in your hand more often than not. Meluseek can also pressure enemy cards off the field mid to late game so not playing three of her is a crime and a half. Play three Meluseek or if you don't have three, then I guess stick One for One in there until you get the third copy.
    2. Altergeist Pookuery → Pookuery should be played at one copy because this isn't Master Duel. Pookuery only helps you link climb into Memorygant easier and let's be real, if you were in a position to make Memorygant, you're probably winning the duel from there. Playing more than one Pookuery is asking to brick.
    3. Personal Spoofing → Playing two Spoofing is fine, but I prefer three for maximum consistency. It's up to personal preference though and others have shown you can be flexible with your build.
    4. Floodgate Trap Hole → Plain and simple, just play a better limit 3 backrow. Floodgate Trap Hole does nothing going second into established enemy boards. Play something like Lost Wind or Compulsory Evacuation Device as your limit 3 tech card.
    5. Altergeist Emulatelf → Just why? Emulatelf is a garbage card that doesn't do anything for you. I would honestly just cut this entirely for better backrow that actually disrupts your opponent. Play any backrow you have such as Paleozoic Canadia, Ring of Destruction, maybe more Warning Point, just anything other than this trash Emulatelf card.
    6. Primebanshee → Three Primebanshee is literally useless. You're never in a position where you're making Primebanshee more than once and only as a bridge to link climb into Memorygant. Cut this down to one.
    7. Kidolga → Kidolga is cool, but only at one copy. She's only used in niche situations where your opponent has a large beatstick in their graveyard and no disruptions, which is a funny win-con of itself. I'm a Kidolga enjoyer and I love playing her though.
SAMPLE EXTRA DECK → Here's the Extra Deck I run if you need some help or suggestions:
    x1 Altergeist Memorygant
    x1 Altergeist Kidolga
    x1 Altergeist Primebanshee
    x2 Altergeist Hexstia
x1 Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior → Lyrilusc Assembled Nightingale answer
x1 Linkuriboh → Why you're not playing Linkuriboh is a crime and a half since he's literally your main starter for the deck. You normal summon Meluseek and link her off into Linkuriboh to get Multifaker search so not playing Linkuriboh is already you not playing the deck correctly.
x1 Wynn the Wind Charmer Verdant → This is to answer Lyrilusc Assembled Nightingale
x1 Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden → Also why you're not playing Artemis is a crime because Artemis can help you sit on Silquitous + Altergeist Manifestation bounce if your hand wasn't good turn one.

I've seen some builds playing Level 5 Reload and in retrospect, Altergeist doesn't really need a skill to play the game. Konami already knows (and acknowledged) Altergeist as being a good deck and as a result, they didn't give the deck an archetypical skill to help it because the deck just doesn't need one. For what it's worth though, the skill I usually play is Altergeist Overwrite for more gas on my Personal Spoofing and to threaten Silquitous bounce easier.
I have Altergeist content on my channel if you want to see replays, explanations on how to play the deck, my own decision making on outplaying my opponent, and more. I am in no way trying to discredit Zuzu here, but at the same time, I am not going to sit here and pretend that her Altergeist decklist is good when it's trash. Not only is she piloting the deck badly, but she's also not playing Linkuriboh or Artemis, two crucial cards that you need since they're your main starters in grabbing your Multifaker and getting Multifaker in rotation. If you want to learn Altergeists, I'm your guy. I've played through all the top tier decks too including Lyrilusc, Shaddoll, Borrel Link, Star Seraph, and more. Furthermore, I also stream on Twitch if you want to learn Altergeist at a top tier level (Crimson Reaper 5).

may I ask what is your full decklist bro?

    • @crimsonreaper5293
      @crimsonreaper5293 10 дней назад

Sure, but do note that I change my decklist monthly according to the metagame. That being said, I have to say that Zuzu's decklist here is extremely unoptimized and even more-so since she's not playing Linkuriboh, the deck's main starter. She's also piloting the deck very badly, either making pointless moves or just making moves that don't get her any advantage. You can be flexible with your build, but I'll give you the build I used for my November 2024 King of Games run, which will also be uploaded to my RUclips channel if you're interested in seeing it. If you've played Altergeist before, you've probably heard of me (Crimson Reaper 5), as I'm the best Altergeist player out there and teach the deck with commentary for people wanting to learn it.
Also a quick note, I don't like dissing this video, but at the same time, I can't just sit here and say that Zuzu's decklist is any good when it's not. I also find it funny how the video isn't showing what rank these replays are being played in. You can have the most unoptimized decklist ever and still go like 20 wins and 0 losses if you're playing in Bronze, but the same cannot be said if you're playing in Legend or King of Games since you'll get matched against actual good players. I can guarantee the decklist being shown in this video isn't going to cut it in high ranks and is not a good Altergeist list, not even close to being King of Games worthy either. That being said, here's the list I used to hit King of Games for the November 2024 ranked season. Compare and you'll see that my list is actually competitively optimized for laddering.
SAMPLE ALTERGEIST DECKLIST (November 2024 King of Games):
SKILL → Altergeist Overwrite (Ghost Gal/Emma Bessho)
      MAIN DECK (20 CARDS):
      x1 Altergeist Kunquery
      x2 Altergeist Multifaker
      x3 Altergeist Meluseek
      x1 Altergeist Marionetter
      x2 Altergeist Silquitous
      x1 Altergeist Pookuery
      x3 Personal Spoofing
      x2 Altergeist Manifestation
      x1 Compulsory Evacuation Device
      x2 Needle Ceiling
      x2 Breakthrough Skill
      EXTRA DECK (9 CARDS):
      x1 Altergeist Memorygant
      x1 Altergeist Primebanshee
      x2 Altergeist Hexstia
x1 Firewall Dragon → I didn't really use this, but you can substitute it for Altergeist Kidolga if you want and the deck works fine. I more-so used this for the alternate art (orange art) flex. You can play a third Hexstia or Kidolga though.
x1 Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior
      x1 Linkuriboh
x1 Wynn the Wind Charmer Verdant
x1 Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden
